Interestingly, while I consistently teach the power of incremental progress to my students, my own creative process feels quite different. For me, it’s rarely about consciously taking smaller steps in the moment. It’s more of an immersion, everything blending into a continuous flow state. That’s where my best work tends to happen: not in measured increments, but in surrendered momentum.
