I spent the whole month of October in Fukuoka (still processing how amazing that was 🤯) and now for the month of November, I’m in Shimoda, a cozy coastal town about 3 hours from Tokyo. 🏝️ I’m here as part of a project called Tadaima Shimoda, and I’ll also be hosting a 2-day Social Media Management workshop for Nomad Experience: a program where people learn different ways to make money online and step into the digital nomad lifestyle. 🌍💻 Shimoda is super peaceful, small town vibes, beautiful nature, beaches, and ocean everywhere you go. It feels like the perfect place to slow down a bit, focus, and get creative. ☀️ I took a walk this morning and I found a hot footbath in a park. 😍 Feeling grateful to be here and excited for this month! Hey everyone 👋 I’m finally back! The past 10 days have been absolutely crazy (in the best way) I joined Colive Fukuoka, a digital nomad conference and 10-day event in Fukuoka, Japan, where I helped the team with content creation for Instagram: capturing the energy, the people, and all the inspiring moments. Between creating content, trying to keep up with my “normal” work, and catching a flu in between (because of course 😆), it’s been… a lot. But also such a beautiful reminder of how much I love being surrounded by people chasing freedom and creativity. Right now, I’m taking a little breather on Goto Island, a small island off the coast of Japan, quiet beaches, kind locals, and the perfect place to slow down and recharge before jumping into everything again. 🌿 👉 How’s your week been? Hey I’m Lindsey. Wife of Lukas Fanders, mom of three plus two pups and two alligator lizards. We just bought an old house in far North Oklahoma in a tiny town to put down some roots after being full nomad for two years with the fam. We launched an automated SEO AI integrated ranking software from the road, mostly camping for free across the middle to western US. Once we get the house situated we’ll get back to traveling, but the matrix demands an address for your business on paper so to beat the game you have to play it and here we are 🤭 I’ve got a ton of insight on travel while building a legacy, navigating the negative noise from people that don’t get it (pro tip don’t, just stop talking to anybody negative), and doing it all with kids. My weakness is consistency and the desire to have a social presence in a very social media based world, with a dash of fear of failure 😬 I’m really excited to be here so we can learn, grow, and share our successes and I’ll be here to cheer everyone on!
