This cycle, Promote Your Build is also going to help us become better at writing promotional posts. Our first skill is the hook—the first line that earns the next few seconds of attention. Instead of beginning with: “Hey everyone, I created a community…” Try beginning with the problem, desire, question, or situation your person already recognizes. Examples: • Still trying to get your first client without a giant audience? • Building a community but unsure how to turn attention into members? • What if your next customer is already watching but doesn’t understand the offer? Those are examples only. Create your own version. Drop: 1. Your hook 2. One or two sentences about your build 3. Your link, if you want people to visit No perfect copy required. This is practice in public.

If people aren’t noticing your community, it doesn’t automatically mean the idea is bad. They may simply be missing one of these signals: • Who the community is for • What result it helps create • Why that result matters • What someone should do next Visibility isn’t only about reaching more people. It’s also about helping the people who do see you understand you quickly. Look at the way you currently describe your community.
