Did a gauge swatch and got 23 sts instead of 20 sts over 10 cm. Used us 6 (4 mm). Should I try using 7 (4.5 mm?). I could also use help determining A, B, C and D please.

I don’t have much of a stash, as I buy yarn for specific projects and don’t have much leftover. However, I bought the wrong weight for a project and now have the yarn for this one! I’m so excited!! Now to figure out which combination I want to go with. The left group I bought for the other project, the two reds are options leftover from other projects that might be good for this one.
