The most fascinating thing about fishing is that you never know what’s happening beneath the surface. 🎣 Sometimes, despite having the right gear and technique, you come up empty-handed; other times, a casual cast brings an unexpected surprise. To all the seasoned anglers out there: what do you think is the most important factor in landing a big fish—experience, technique, or a bit of luck?

@Lance Burris I agree with you. I’m still learning fly fishing, and I’ve realized that patience and paying attention to the details often matter just as much as technique. Every time I’m on the water, I feel like I learn something new. What’s one lesson fishing has taught you over the years?

@Lance Burris Fly fishing definitely takes patience, and you have to keep adjusting your approach. But I think luck only determines what you catch in the moment. What really helps you improve is experience and good judgment. Rather than focusing on how big a fish I catch, I enjoy watching the current, figuring out where the fish are, and slowly finding techniques that work for me. Even if I come home empty-handed, it doesn't mean I didn't get anything out of it
