Welcome to The Evidence Room.
If you’ve ever read about a case and thought, something about this doesn’t sit right, you’re probably in the right place. This community is for people who are curious about investigations, timelines, and the details that sometimes get overlooked. Not for speculation or sensationalism — but for thoughtful discussion and ethical research. We’ll look at real cases, talk about how investigations unfold, and explore the questions that still remain when stories go quiet. To start, I’d love to know: What is one case that has stayed with you over time; and why do you think it stuck with you? Introduce yourself below and let’s begin. 🔎

I’ll start. I’m currently researching several cases, but the one that has stayed with me the most is the case of Brittany Phillips in Tulsa. It has been on my mind since I met her mother, Dr. Maggie Zingman, at CrimeCon 2025. I’ll share more about Brittany as this group grows, but she was a bright 18-year-old with a future ahead of her. Her life was taken far too soon, and she was laid to rest on what should have been her 19th birthday. Maggie launched "Caravan to Catch a Killer" to spread the word about Brittany's case and other families who find themselves in the darkness of a "cold case."
