What matters most when selling online: the offer, the message, or the audience? 🤔
A great product can still struggle if it doesn't reach the right people. A clear message can grab attention, but the offer also needs to solve a real problem. I've also come across Automate Scale Lab, a community focused on AI automation and sharing ideas: https://floment.ai/communities/automate-scale-lab-340 For those with experience selling online, which part took you the longest to figure out? If you were starting from scratch today, would you focus first on finding the right audience, creating an irresistible offer, or learning how to convert visitors into customers? I'd love to hear your experiences! 🚀

Hey everyone! 👋
I'm excited to be part of this community and learn more about selling online, marketing, and building systems that help businesses grow. My background is in virtual assistance, online research, social media engagement, and data collection. I've also been exploring AI tools and automation to make repetitive tasks more efficient. One thing I want to improve is understanding how to attract the right audience, communicate value clearly, and turn attention into genuine customer interest without being too pushy. I'm looking forward to learning from everyone's experiences and applying what I learn along the way. Question for the group: For someone looking to improve their online selling skills, what's one marketing or sales principle you wish you had understood earlier? Looking forward to connecting and learning with you all!

@Glen Hutsell That's a great lesson to bring into sales, Glen! From my perspective, research helps identify patterns, but the real signal is how much the problem affects someone's day-to-day work. If they keep bringing it up, explain how it costs them time or money, or mention the workarounds they've already tried, that's usually worth exploring further. I'd ask follow-up questions about how they're handling it now and what they'd change if they could. That helps you understand whether it's just a frustration or something they're genuinely ready to solve.
Let’s be real for a second—trying to master online selling, implement Russell Brunson’s core funnels, and scale your marketing without getting overwhelmed by complex sales scripts and traffic strategies is tough.
Most entrepreneurs get stuck trying to piece together funnels, struggling to sell from the stage, and wondering how to get their offers in front of the right crowd. Here is the raw truth on how to actually master sales, build your audience, and scale your offers like a Prime Mover: 1. Map out your sales funnel: Use ChatGPT or Claude to draft your webinar scripts, outline your value ladder, and structure your high-converting sales hooks. 2. Organize your marketing assets: Keep your funnel blueprints, traffic strategies, and event notes structured in a clean workspace like Notion so you can execute your campaigns step by step. 3. Engage with the community: Bring your marketing questions, funnel breakdowns, and event takeaways directly into community discussions to see what strategies are converting right now. Mastering online selling shouldn't feel like guessing in the dark. If you're trying to structure a new offer, prep for your next event, or map out your sales framework, drop your current bottleneck straight into Floment.ai. It cuts through the marketing noise and gives you a straight, execution-ready blueprint so you can stop second-guessing your funnels and actually start scaling. 👇 What is the number one sales funnel or marketing secret you are working on mastering right now? Drop it below!

@Tallahase Veronah Thank you, Tallahase. Yes, I’m interested in digital marketing and online business, especially around AI tools, content, and productivity. I’m still learning and exploring different areas, but I enjoy finding simple ways to use technology to make work and projects more organized. How about you? What type of online business or digital marketing are you currently working on?

@Tallahase Veronah Happy new week to you too! ❤️🙏 And thank you for sharing that. I’ve heard of Beacons Store before, but I haven’t used it myself yet. I like the idea of having your digital products and affiliate resources organized in one place, especially when you’re trying to stay consistent with sales. I’ve mostly been exploring AI tools and using Floment.ai to keep projects, content ideas, and tasks organized. It sounds like Beacons could be useful for the selling side while something like Floment can help keep the work behind it organized. What kind of digital products are selling best for you right now?
What happens to your leads after the opt-in? (Most funnels have a $0 follow-up layer)
You spend real money on traffic. People opt in. Then... silence. No personalised follow-up. No behaviour-based nudge. Just the same 5-email sequence hitting everyone the same way regardless of what they actually did. Here's what the gap looks like: - Lead visits your sales page 3 times but doesn't buy → gets the same email as someone who opened once 2 weeks ago - Lead books a call but no-shows → falls into the general nurture sequence with no re-engagement trigger - Lead replies to an email with a question → response fires on a timer, not on intent What I've been building instead: A behaviour-based follow-up layer that watches what each lead does after opting in and responds to that specifically. Different message for the hot lead who keeps coming back. Different trigger for the no-show. Different sequence for the one who's engaging but not buying. The result: fewer leads going cold, higher show rates, and a backend that earns from leads your funnel already paid to acquire. If you're running any offer with a call or purchase component — this layer usually pays for itself in the first week. What does your current follow-up look like post-opt-in? Curious what's working here.

The behavior-based approach makes a lot more sense than treating every lead the same. Someone who keeps visiting the sales page clearly needs a different follow-up from someone who opened one email and disappeared. I also think the organization behind it is important. Once you have different triggers, conversations, and next steps happening at the same time, it helps to have a clear workflow so those leads don’t get lost between the automation and the actual follow-up.

@Liton Sarker Exactly. The trigger itself is only useful if the person handling it knows why the lead was flagged in the first place. Otherwise, even a good automation can turn into another list of tasks that nobody really understands. I think keeping the trigger, context, and next action connected is the important part. That’s also where I see Floment being useful, since it can keep the follow-up task tied to the actual workflow instead of leaving the context behind in the automation.
