Hello All, tomorrow is our last SOJ call and we will go over week six rather fast and then debrief about the study. Please bring the positives, and the negatives and any suggestions that you might have to make it better and or clearer, and more helpful for others. This has been an amazing six weeks and I have seen such a shift in how we all are thinking about Joy, Seasons, and especially how aware we are now of the weeds planted from the enemy that we now just stamp on and pull them out right away. We will no longer allow our joy to be stolen. 🙏🙌♥️💪🏼 I can't wait to hear from you, and again it has been a great blessing to share this study with you. You all have brought me such joy seeing the Lord (Master Gardener) planting and growing seeds of joy in us all. See you tomorrow, I hope you can join. ♥️🌸

This day is all about fruit and grace. What if the growing of the Fruit of the Spirit was our major focus? It would all be about growing these elements in our lives and sharing them with others, showing them love and grace like we were given. Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance (patience), kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. This scripture keeps coming to my mind again and again to keep me focused on the fruit and not the world. John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came so that they would have life, and have it abundantly. The very thing that steals our joy is wanting to keep us from any of the fruit by destroying our connection to Him. But, if we are focused on Him and allowing Him to cultivate more fruit in us to share with others, the enemy has no power in our lives. My garden has been my illustration during this entire process and it continued yesterday. As the temps especially at night are getting a little cooler, my plants are bouncing back and producing more fruit again. I felt so good about it that I just left them alone all day. But, I went out early last evening to water them and half of them and most all the fruit was gone, just gone. In just a day of being away, the enemy was able to come in FAST and strip it away, destroying it for sure. It hit me hard that we need to not get too confident or removed from the Master Gardener even for one day because the enemy is waiting and watching for that moment to come in and steal, kill, and destroy anything and everything he can and especially take the fruit. Don't step away for a moment, the enemy is waiting and watching to pounce. He can destroy so much in even a single day when we are not looking. Protect that fruit from the enemy that would love to pick it clean off. Here is the before and the after. 🥹 But, we have a promise from the Master Gardener to have a fruitful and abundant life with Him filled with much growing and blooming fruit, especially Joy. 🙌🙌🙌🙏🙏🙏

The first part is to commit to finding joy in every season. The enemy plants all the negative things all around us. But, the Master Gardener with help from the Holy Spirit brings so much fruit into your life including, joy, love and peace. Remove that focus on the lies the enemy is working hard to tell and show and fix your eyes on the Lord. Tell the enemy to go, and focus on the good and on having gratitude and give thanks for the blessings of joy. This is our last day of this study, we have one more call tomorrow to share together (I can't wait) but, you are welcome at any time to go back to anything in this study. I pray that you were blessed and that you can now see the enemies lies and weeds he tries to plant so you can stamp them out and pull them up from the weak roots. 😖 But, most importantly is that you see how the seasons come and the seasons go and in every one you have amazing promises from God that you can stand on to keep that joy and begin to see so much good. ♥️🩷♥️ God has a beautiful plan for you to grow and bloom, and if you stay next to Him, calling on Him, and asking Him to guide you, teach you, and show you...He will not only show you, but walk through it with you, by your side. I started off in all the other weeks with sharing about how the enemy not only plants weeds, but now we are talking about how he also plants and plays on your nature and places comfort and pleasure in your path as well. Please be careful to know what is honoring the Master Gardener and what is not. Any comfort that keeps you away from Him is not a blessing, it might even become a pattern, a routine and eventually a stronghold that the enemy uses to keep you from your true blessings. I share this because your true blessing are what bring you real joy and great peace, creature comforts from the enemy is holding you back from the real life you are meant to lead and the love, guidance and even the gifts from the Lord. If you become too comfortable in sin and complacency, the enemy has you right where he wants you and it takes strength to step out and go to the Master Gardener once again. But, He is waiting for you with open arms and a love that you have never known until you are humbled before Him and willing to let Him in. He wants to show you what real blessing, joy, love and peace is all about. Just return to Him and let go of what the world has told you is a blessing, it never will be, only He is the true blessing and only His path is the one to follow. Not today enemy!

This last week is a review and summary of many things discussed in previous weeks, but with a more direct plea. In every single season, the promises are often followed with the directive to follow the Lord, or about being obedient to the commands from the Lord. The enemy has no room to step in when you are close to the Lord. There is such clarity and joy that comes when you are walking in step with your purpose and growing more fruit because you are being guided by the Lord. In every single season this is the focus and directive. So, if He tells you this time and again, it must be the key to living a life with joy in every season. How do you deepen that relationship with Him? There are many suggestions on this lesson but the key is to spend time with Him and read His Word. Then, follow the steps and directives given. It is about taking the time to spend with Him. How can you prioritize Him in a very busy season? It can look different that most seasons. Finally, this day is about being an imitator of Christ and His attributes to Imitate. The activity has you create a list from Philippians 2 that you read.
