Eeeek! I was so darn busy at work this week, but I finally finished my swatch, blocked it, and met gauge on 4mm needles (whew!!). Tonight I can cast on 😀 Happy dance!! A - Grey B - Light Mint C - Navy and Dark Teal (it’s light fingering so I held it double with a strand of Navy, but I think I’ll just hold it triple) D - 🤷‍♀️ looks like I don’t have to decide that yet heehee I knit in the round and made some columns on the backside, so that I can steek my swatch later on, before the real deal 😬

As other have already said, this is going to be a long week, but I love that it's a manageable amount - some KALs I've done weren't designed for people with a job and multiple children!

I was sure I cast on the right number of stitches, all my colourwork worked out fine, yet somehow I'm 6 stitches over? 😅 What are the chances that I miscounted my cast on exactly by one pattern repeat worth of stitches? 😅 So right now, I'm debating whether I should just put my big girl pants on and frog the whole thing, or just do fewer increases in the next round, which is a single colour anyway 😜😅

Finished clue #1! Changed my mind and will knit the pullover. So far so good! Using Spincycle yarns for the color work so the color will change as I go along.

I have a confession to make - instead of stash busting, I bought new yarn for this project! I did look at my stash, but I used most of my DK in scrap blankets and the ones I've got left would look awful together. These colours aren't normally my first choice, but I saw the spotty yarn, then all the others, and thought, hey, these would look good, so here we go :D I'm really looking forward to starting this and seeing everyone else's colours too 😁
