Hello! I’m an ex-chef that picked up and left the US with my family - we’re currently nomadic, but looking to settle in Spain. I’ve had minimal corporate burnout exposure (short flash as a manager at DoorDash), however my career in the restaurant industry led me to question, “why not me?” I want to forge my own path moving forward. I’m passionate about helping people and as an ex-operator I know firsthand how much help small to medium sized businesses need. I’m looking to gain skills and familiarity with AI automation, apply them to small local business via AI voice agents, and grown from there. Located on the Gold Coast, QLD Australia. To be honest, I was skeptical at the start. I joined a couple of weeks ago, did some digging, read through the boards, stepped away… then found myself coming back. After spending time observing how people engage here, it became clear this was the right community for me, so I decided to jump on board and go all in. I’ve been in the customer service space for over 20 years, and while I don’t say this lightly, it’s a field I genuinely excel in. That said, working within corporate environments can only take you so far. I bring a lot of experience, but I’m very aware there’s always more to learn, which is why I’m here, to contribute where I can and learn from the people in this room. Which brings me to my why. It’s time to step out of the shadow of others and build something of my own. I’m a solo father to a very sassy 7-year-old girl, and she has and will always be my biggest motivation to provide, to lead and to teach, this paired alongside my own ambition is a big motivator to my why.
