One of the businesses I work with recently closed a contract worth in excess of $20m! Suffice to say it’s kept us pretty busy on the acquisition side. In this deal I’m playing the role of strategic partnerships and acquisitions. This stuff works man, when we land our next large contract, it’ll be life changing for me personally. I’m genuinely so happy I learnt how to do this and I hope you get a ton of value from the course. You just have to watch the videos and apply the process. Everyone talking about Deepseek and how it will change the world, well, consider this… Given the current world we live in, we have to be very careful about the possible security impact this will have. Some Chinese companies (if not all) have to report certain information to their government which could potentially include your personal information. Not sure for certain but not willing to take that risk. With that being said, similar to what happened to TikTok in the US, it could be similar future for Deepseek in due course, esp how they impacted western markets. I don’t deny the value, capability, cost savings etc but this is something just to consider. I pulled out of a deal with a Chinese solar company that needed U.K. distributors when they couldn’t tell me where the data was being held or even what data was being collected and if they were GDPR compliant. I just want to share this as a way to not get caught up in the hype but think about other potential factors that could impact your business if you decide to implement it.
