Please Roast Me
Hi Everyone, I am Maureen, from South Africa, Author, Coach, Hypnotherapist and now Skool Community owner. I am new to Skool and have just built my first Community. Please roast it for me. I want to build a community that enriches people, and makes a difference, so I appreciate all feedback. https://www.skool.com/reclaim-rise-40-collective-1652/about?ref=1d11f0700a5d4003a1902c79284ddbac&utm_campaign=skool_link_post&utm_content=3d182f97d2144587bef3d43558743525

First, I think all of the previous people have more important points than I have--and I'm being candid, not modest. Their feedback needs to be the priority if you ask me. My feedback is that I assure you there will be some people who see the word "habit" right off the bat and decide that establish new habits is one of the central pillars of the group (with room for others like fun or whatever). I'm not sure the idea of habits is every returned to after the first usage. I could make a guess that you are putting some of the things/activities/opportunities offered in the basket of habits--but I don't want to make any conjectures.

@Maureen Schlachter I'm not pointing you in any direction. I'm calling my experience to your attention. You'll need to be the sovereign authority here and decide if there's a need for a change and if so what. I was going to provide more feedback even if you hadn't asked for clarification: It occurs to me that you could change "habits" to "threads." (Habits may be overused; threads may distinguish you from others.) Threads makes people think of artistry. This may be too much of a stretch, but you could coin a term such as "Happiness Artists" or, maybe more simple and more better, use the word "weaving" later, perhaps "weaving" together this activity and that activity (all that the group offers) to create a beautiful tapestry (or another specific) or "artwork" if you want ot be more general. (It occurs to me just now that the undertone of this (the implied meaning speaking to the subconscious) would be more an artist of your life rather than an artist of happiness). There might be some undertones of empowerment--"threads' imply creativity--and each person is empowered to create a richer, fuller life. I'm biased as someone who always swims in spiritual waters. I gravitate to words like "rich" and "full." (For me they have a spiritual energy.) Obviously, I like your group and see it as a seed that can help others. A return to community that has been declining. And your genius is being able to detect the pulse of speciic fertilizers that can enrich the soil--you've got an insping list of activities/engagements/options.
Roast my new sales page!
This page is for a recreated and rebranded membership that goes live mid-April. So now is the perfect time for feedback. Hit me with it and don’t be shy. What’s interesting? What’s confusing? Even if you aren’t the target demographic, I’m open to your thoughts. Thanks in advance. https://lpages.theholymess.com/the-holy-weigh/

You absolutely inspire me. I wish I had the gift of something that could be improved. But I'm hooked (even as a man who is not overweight). Most importantly, my curiosity about Holy Hunger is whetted--I really do want to learn more about this. (This is a sign that those women who watch it and who like the same cup of tea as me will be very, very curious.) Love the video. Love the starting point you choose (about 12 min). Your energy shines through you. Your voice is a joy to listen to and the faith within it. You communicate with a captial C. (Just coined a phrase.) Okay, I'm on fire. I'll stop.
🌿Ready to Get Your Health Back?🌿
For 25 years, I’ve worked in public education — helping others grow. But for 15 of those years, I was fighting my own battle: pain, fatigue, endless medications, and no real answers. At 45, facing yet another health scare, I decided something had to change. I didn’t want another pill — I wanted the truth behind my symptoms. That’s when I discovered Functional Medicine. Through deeper testing, I learned I didn’t have rheumatoid arthritis — I had Lyme disease. I didn’t have celiac — I had non‑celiac gluten intolerance. And once I healed my gut, my body began to heal itself. I went from 15 prescriptions a day to 2. I haven’t felt this good in 20 years. Now, I’m certified in health, nutrition, and peptide coaching — and I’ve built Holistically, Realistically! to help others do the same. 💧 Find your root cause. 🌱 Reduce toxins. ✨ Reclaim your energy. Join our community Holistically, Realistically and start your journey to real healing — not just symptom management. 👉 Your body knows how to heal. Let’s help it do what it was designed to do.

I liked the first draft and didn't mind the em dashes (I didn't know they are common in AI). The second draft is even better. I'm inclined to say 3 times better. And I've been writing for decades professionally and as a hobby.

The text has been revised. 100%. Erased everything. Sharing here. But I don't feel the need for additional feedback. I'm truly happy with this. Because it will magnitize those who can thrive in my community and it will repel those who are not the best fit. I want my soil, my offerings, to be available to those who find them fertilizing. Never before has a generation on planet Earth been so blessed, so fortunate. Never has humanity been so ready for living fully. We are living in times of transformation unlike any time in recorded history. We are invited to see with sacred Sight, to deepen our devotion, to live with singleheartedness. And most of all, to participate, to dance with Spirit, to invite and invoke the One. May we enter this garden knowing we are being ripened. May our minds appeal to our hearts for wisdom here. Workshops and Compassionate Listening are offered here for free. Exercises from my forthcoming book The Peace Above the Chaos are offered. A chance to meet new souls. And practices I've designed for directees over the years. By way of introducing myself, a video is included here and this link to a Substack article: https://thepowerofmysticism.substack.com/p/coming-from-divinity-feeds-you

Hmm. I want to think about that. I'm glad you raised that first point. Even though I'm not sure if I agree. (And if I end out falling on your side of the fence, I may need to add more varieties of offerings--for now, weekly workshops are my primary flower.) The "don't push a book" is spot on from where I sit. I'm glad you chimed in here, Dr. Sev, because I've been meaning to add another comment to my feedback. It came to me after send the feedback that it might be good to do a "dummy" version that chunks the info more. I don't know if it's a good idea or not in your case. I was impressed with it as it stands. I just know I see chunking used a lot. Sometimes with more tabs/pages (due to more headlines/categories). (One webpage, sometimes the home page, devoted to only "my story".) Another "services" or "work with me" page. You get the jist.) So one more idea using a word technical writers use all the time, "chunk". I can't weigh in unless I see the results.
Roast my about page (again)👀
Ok so I went away and made some changes, and I'd like some feedback, mainly if you guys understand my message (who is it that I help and how I help), and if the message is strong enough. My About Page

@Alexandra Alexa I like Steve's input. The most important thing he did, from my experience reading the about page you provided, is create blank space after "What's inside (free)".
