One change is all you need to remedy this. Right now it is "wait, what do you mean by that?" For those who have never merged the two, it is hard to follow, confusing, unclear. It would be entirely remedied if you start with "This is not your average fitness group." That's when the confusion evaporated, with that paragraph. It's a solid paragraph that packs a worldview into a few words. People who don't see things like you do will likely not make it that far, will click away before getting to this clarification. You need to start with that.

The sentence right before the bullet points at the start is annoying ("Whether you. . ."). Plus, after being annoyed by it, it is superfluous and redundant upon reading the first two bullet points (these two bullet points make it clear that it is for both kinds of writers). So the most significant feedback I can provide is to get rid of that phrase. (Just up to the comma, just the phrase, for, of course, you still must have a lead in for the bullets.) The other thing that many might find incredulous--it could be the thing that triggers people to dismiss you entirely--is the notion of a 40 page book for adults. It makes sense for children only.
Roast my about page please🙏
I am slightly changing my about page so I would be grateful if you guys can help me. I have 2 versions of it, and I'd like to know your opinion - which one is better - or if none, why. I don't have the description up yet, so I'll leave here the google doc with the 2 versions: My about page

I find the first one more engaging. It speaks to me. The second one didn't. I'm not sure if the remedy for the second one could be revising the opening short paragraph. Maybe it was just that beginning "note" that resulted in my experiencing it as almost a foreign language.

I'm forming a group that is different from the standard fare. Perhaps it will seed a movement, worldwide. It cannot be categorized. it is like a rose with many petals. Earthlings for Peace

@Laura Paulina Yes. Anyone who is "sophisticated" or "seasoned" enough to know what a "member journey" is, knows that it's golden/needed/important. Simple tools that save you time and feeling good when running the community. These are the fruits of what you're offering. Sometimes I think that closing with a powerful, yummy spotlight on the promised experience is an excellent close. A springboard to the JOIN button. In this case, I'm not sure they will reach these ending bullet points. They need to be the carrot on the stick.
