Life is like a Rubicks Cube
Life Is Like a Rubikโ€™s Cube By Bear Warrior Gonzales My life has been much like a Rubikโ€™s Cube. At first, everything was mixed up twisted, cracked, and confusing. I struggled to find the right moves to make sense of it all. In the beginning, my life was full of chaos. I was deeply involved in gangs and lived for the fight. If I wasnโ€™t fighting, I didnโ€™t feel alive. The truth is, I was in so much mental emotional and spiritual pain that I needed others to feel pain too. I spent much of my youth in juvenile halls, camps, and prisons. Many of my family members reading this know exactly what Iโ€™m talking about. Back then, my life was fueled by anger, hatred, rage, and violence. I lived with a death wish. I was the kind of person who would take a knife to a gunfight just for the thrill of it.But somewhere along the way, people came into my life who made a difference, those who offered uplifting words, encouragement, or even honest criticism spoken with care and respect. They didnโ€™t put me down; they helped me look up.Like solving that Rubikโ€™s Cube, my life took time, patience, and effort to piece together. Slowly, the twisted colors began to align. The day came when the cube of my life finally made sense. The chaos became clarity, the pain became purpose, and I finally felt healed. When I look around, I see many people still struggling with their own โ€œcubesโ€ their lives twisted, mixed up, and ready to be thrown away in frustration. But I want to remind everyone: donโ€™t give up. If you move just one grain of sand, the world will never be the same. Small actions create ripples that change lives. So I challenge each of you reading this: make a difference in one personโ€™s life. Then, challenge them to do the same for someone else. Together, we can create a chain of healing, kindness, and transformation one life, one cube, one move at a time. Message of the Story: This story is about transformation, redemption, and the power of compassion. It reminds us that even the most broken, complicated life can be made whole again with patience, guidance, and love. Like a Rubikโ€™s Cube, life may twist us in every direction, but with perseverance and the influence of those who care we can find alignment, purpose, and peace.

This is a powerful statement you made Bear; "...donโ€™t give up. If you move just one grain of sand, the world will never be the same. Small actions create ripples that change lives.." The Rubik's Cube was a perfect analogy of life's twists and turns. My son showed me how to solve the Rubik's cube...patterns...remembering where one color is and switching it up back and forth to bring everything together...sounds like 'life" Thanks for sharing! ๐Ÿ—๏ธ๐Ÿ˜‡

@Bear Gonzales Oh, my son learned how to solve it on YouTube...in a way, he cheated himself out of the journey of learning it for himself....Hmm... I feel that your analogy of navigating life challenges is so much more valuable! ๐Ÿ˜‡๐Ÿ’
Debut Poetry Book: โ€œTransformationโ€
Hi everyone! My name is Michael Teferi, I am a Poet, Writer, and Positive Psychology Coach here on Substack. I am brand new as of this evening to The Language Portal via membership approval by Ms. Lynch. I have been having major problem# with self-publishing my poetry books as a trilogy, starting with my first one. Can people here help me? My problem is that I donโ€™t have a working phone number, so I donโ€™t have specific access to Amazon KDP. I just sent out an email earlier this evening to Barnes & Noble about publishing my poetry books starting with โ€œTransformationโ€ on bn.com and potentially having my debut poetry book in the local Barnes & Noble bookstore in their Manassas, VA location. Please let me know your thoughts and opinions about my potential new poetry book everyone!

WOW!! Congratulations!! I am an indie author as well as have my own publishing LLC . I live in South Korea and saddled the same issue as you are struggling with the phone verification. I use ; https://www.callcentric.com/ It is an internet-based phone number, and you can send/receive SMS (which is needed for KDP and more) People can call your number and leave voice messages. It has been a life saver to overcome this barrier. I think it only cost me $5.00/month...easy peasy!! I hope that helps!! ๐Ÿ‘ผ Thank you for the PDF! I will download it and enjoy "Transformation" poetry! ๐Ÿ’– My dear friend is a poet, and maybe you can gain some inspiration from her path/books. My Patchwork Heart (collections) https://tjchristoff.com/ She also has a YouTube channel where she reads her poems....

Why Writing by Hand Changes Your Brain
During our co-writing session today, I was reminded of the difference between writing by hand and writing on a laptop. I journal by hand and move to my laptop when I write for social media. This morning, I filled three pages in my notebook on this very topic. Now I am typing on my laptop to share it with you. I appreciate when research validates what many of us intuitively experience. Studies continue to explore the cognitive differences between handwriting and typing. Typing can be faster. Itโ€™s efficient and practical, but it doesnโ€™t stimulate the brain in the same way. Youโ€™re using a small amount of finger movement and typing with your thumbs on your phone is even less. Then thereโ€™s the distraction factor with notifications and the temptation to check social responses. Conversely, handwriting involves more of your body. The pen moves across the page while your eyes track the words forming. Itโ€™s a more integrated experience. Research supports this difference. Scientific American has reported that handwriting activates broader neural networks in the brain than typing, including areas tied to memory, language, and sensory processing. Studies comparing handwritten and typed notes consistently show stronger memory retention with handwriting. Because writing by hand is slower, it encourages summarizing and synthesizing rather than transcribing, which deepens encoding. A 2020 study in Frontiers in Psychology further found that handwriting increases connectivity between brain regions associated with learning and memory. There is also evidence from developmental neuroscience that forming letters by hand, especially cursively, strengthens neural pathways linked to reading and language in ways that typing does not fully replicate. For me, both have their place. Pen and paper allow ideas to surface and take form. The laptop helps refine and share them. What is your preference while writing? P.S. Will you be practicing cursive writing with me?

It is a physical connection to the brain! Now, I use voice dictation...but then...there are so many grammatical errors and spelling mistakes...๐Ÿคฃ Cursive writing is becoming a lost art...truly an art. (unless you have seen my cursive...and it would be an abstract art and need translating!! ) Thanks for sharing this wisdom!๐Ÿ’
Coherence Before Creation Replay
๐ŸŒ€ The replay is now available. This session is a gentle return to your body, your future self, and the field of infinite intelligence that is always available to you. Create a quiet space, press play, and pause the recording when prompted for 20โ€“30 minutes of writing. We began with coherence. Notice what emerges for you. My words return when I return to myself.

Oh, this was such a relaxing and lovely transportation to connecting with the higher self to 'just write.' Thank you! ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ’–
The Language Portal is an access point
There is an access point beyond our physical form that gives us access to pure potentiality within the Quantum Field. Our Higher Self, Soul, Spiritual Light Body, chose your language, exists within this field. I used to ask, "What is my essence, my gift?" I felt so lost not knowing until I heard the words, "We are our essence." We are it, so have trouble seeing ourself through this lens. I believe each us has access to a Portal that is our gift to share with others. Mine happens to be opening the doorway to the Language Portal for others to access their creative flow and bring form to the formless through articulating their messages, insights, and visions. Each Wednesday at 9:00 am PT, the Portal is opened for our community. Click on the "GoLive" button for access. What is top of mind for you to create today? I'll be working on the final proofreading changes from Lucie Haskins for "Married Widow."
