Hey everyone, just wanted to share my story now that I’ve officially passed and secured my first real funded account! It’s been a journey, almost 9 months to the day since I started actively with Trade Algorithm on September 1st. I remember that first month… most people were posting wins, and I was still trying to figure out the setup. I actually lost more than I gained, not because of the system, but because I was still in “trial and error” mode, learning how to configure everything properly. Once I figured it out, October took off fast, everything turned around, and I was just watching profits build passively. That’s when I realized yes, hitting targets in 1 to 3 months is totally doable, depending on your risk settings. Then came December. A different story. The market was slower, more ranging, lower liquidity — and my gains pulled back. So, like Euan advised, I paused the system until the market stabilized and Trade Algorithm rolled out its updates. In the last week of January, I jumped back in and quickly recovered most of the losses. But then... I got greedy. In February and March, I started adding more pairs (since new ones were released), thinking I’d make more. Instead, I lost more than I won. It was humbling. I kept asking myself, “What’s going on?” But then I realized: that’s just how markets work. And let’s be real, no one controls the markets. So we can’t put the blame on Trade Algorithm either. If anything, they’ve built a system that keeps getting better, with great support, transparency, and results. The real deal, as they say. Eventually, I returned to what had worked for me: Mainly Gold at 1% risk. April and May have been a dream since then. It all started flowing again: with patience, calm, and a sense of humor. I’ve learned it’s not about doing more, it’s about doing what works and sticking to it. Euan and the Trade Algorithm team recommend adding more pairs to diversify and smooth the equity curve, and I’m going there, but this time doing my due diligence first, which is exactly what I skipped last time. That was the missing piece.
