My post on the skoolers page for teachers/mentors
My tattoo skool page grew nice in a week I’ve been in the industry for 34 years and have had bad experiences with apprentices usually 99% of them end up failing and are only in it for them self and once they have the tools they feel they needed, apprentices vanish. Usually owing something or taking something not theirs.. many real world bad experiences in the early days. So I swore I’d not ever apprentice another however this platform changes things tremendously and just with a basic subscription you have so much room to be productive. I want to say thanks to those behind the scenes improving and adjusting. I’m not here for money or to compete. I want for my time as a struggling artist to help others avoid that struggle and be successful from the beginning of their career. That to me is value in its self knowing my kids are on their own and eventually no longer ask for help or how to do something. Only then is your learning process with a mentor finished till then we latch on to that one person that has the answers or finds them in a few not next a week. My original class not so much participation so we’ll see if it takes on the life of its own as I designed it. I found this meme that really got me thinking and wanted to say this about my take on this after 34 years tattooing and contributing to a mainstream industry that supports so many different products and manufacturing types. Honestly the innovation comes from regular people like us not any one special it takes a group of like minded people to build this kind of community. I’m curious what you all think when you take a good look at this picture nothing to detailed but just your outlook on what a class can produce from a group not seeing that till long after really the same as what our goals were in high school, we change and learn and adapt which I see here. Thanks and I’m proud to be here Victor delosangeles jr Mr.Pimpmytattoo
