Starting over
Hi everyone! Thank you so much for coming to my community! I started this with no knowledge of what I got myself into. I am completely unprepared yet inspired to jump in and teach what I know in my soul, is information I can share and is valuable. I have made the decision to leave Skool for now, and come back again READY!! I will also change the name of this community to EAT LOCAL, upon my return. We can all eat local. Whether it’s a grow your own, forage the land or find a farmer friend…. That’s module 1😊. If you’d like to stay in contact in the meantime, please message for contact details.. I’ll look you up when I return! All the best each and every day! And since it snowed over 6 inches, my family is headed to the ski hill! 🏂🏂🏂 in winter🥕🥕🥕🥕 in spring-fall! My life in a nutshell 🤩

I look forward to seeing you start over again @Erin Saunders! I’m with you for sure😊👍
Lamb’s Quarters
Introducing a WEED that really is a friend! As you will learn, all our medicinal plants have more than one benefit but yesterday, I used it for my stomach. I do not know what came over me ( probably doing my taxes haha) but I knew how to help! Last summer, I harvested enough Lamb’s Quarters to last the year. Once discovering all the medicinal plants that grow naturally in my garden, I changed the way I weed. Harvest first, then weed! I’m so thankful for this plant. The tea tastes like dirt water but it did what it claims to do! Feeling 100% today💪 Hot tip- it also tastes like spinach fresh or frozen. Do you recognize this plant? They are just babies in this picture. Fully grown, they can be 4ft tall with 1000’s of pink-ish seeds.

Cool Erin :) Thanks for sharing!
Welcome and disclaimer
Thank you so much for joining my community. I am a farmer, not a techie. I am going to be a little while longer in creating video content. In the meantime, please tell me where you are from and what growing zone you are in. I'm in zone 3... snow-covered and another drought is on the way sadly! I would also love to know if you are new to growing your food or expert level!! Have you ever foraged for medicinal plants? Did you know WEEDS are your friends? Haha...this will be a main topic as weeds have a bad reputation and I'm here to change that! That gets us going for now! Brag away!!!

Awesome! I am from cold Norway. My wife, Anniken (who’s a plant scientist) and I are all into regenerative organic gardening, especially for the health and longevity reasons. We grow sprouts and herbs indoor year around, and veggies and fruits in our greenhouse and regenerative garden. We use the produce to make fermented foods like kimchi and sauerkraut for the probiotic effects. Here are a few clips from our garden and why we do what we do💚🌱
