This time last year I had a minor but very painful back injury. Over the weekend I remembered one small thing my doctor told me: Don’t cross your legs when sitting. Not ever. There is obviously a good reason why, so I’ve tried to remember it. So far, so good — my back has been much better since then. Thank you, reformer Pilates. It reminded me that “one little thing” can apply to so much in life. So here is one little thing to make your home happier today: Remove something. Something you don’t use. Something you don’t love. Something that doesn’t make the room work better. Something that quietly annoys you every time you see it. Not a full clear-out. Not a big project. Just one thing.
