New to CapCut... but last night’s session helped me create this
Thanks @Tony Rockliff and @Jam Anderson for last night’s CapCut training — it was incredibly useful! I implemented what we learned by editing a short video from my Thanksgiving family trip. Here are a few features I implemented from yesterday's CapCut training: - Used three templates (including an intro, an outro, rapid-fire photo collage) - Tried out several pro audio enhancements - Added AI-generated captions to a silly music video Sharing the finished video here:

Way to go applying what you learned, Elizabeth! Great job! I love the video!
Professional Video Shoot + HeyGen = WIN 🏆 (mostly)
Hey everyone, I have a fun use case for AI Avatars that I wanted to share. So far... I've mostly used HeyGen for social media, so I just self-shot those. I am building a new course in partnership with SCORE.org ( full announcement coming soon). So I had a full shoot day set up to make these intro videos really stand out. Well, as things go the shoot day came and went and I forgot to shoot the sales page video. 😬 Luckily, I remembered I am an AI expert, and this is exactly when we need to use things like HeyGen. So, I created a new Avatar with my professionally shot video and audio. The results are amazing. The only thing is I look soulless in the eyes. But... maybe it's a good thing because that's how we can tell? Have you tried making any AI avatars of yourself? Share them with us below!

Hi Jam, your AI avatar looks and sounds really great. I know you went through a lot to get to that point. Have you created any kind of cheat sheet or checklist of all the things that would help us mere mortals create really good AI avatars?
Suno is so much fun.
I have a deep musical background and I started playing with Suno and it brought a Christmas song I wrote years ago to life in seconds. My friend with zero musical background is making an album for his wife for Christmas with this. Check it out. https://suno.com/s/zGmXSW0VGh350c6w

@Jam Anderson it's funny you should mention Suno. I've been working a lot with it recently, but actually moved on from it. I was working this week with a multi-platinum songwriter who has written hits for a huge number of stars. He just signed a new publishing deal with Warner Chappell and has a large catalog of demos done over the years, some of which are kind of dated because they were done many years back. We wanted to see if Suno could take those demos and really bring them up to date, and turn them into professional 2025 radio-ready productions. And frankly, it turned out that it really couldn't. It's great at what it can do, but it couldn't do what we needed it to. But in digging deeper, we found out that Producer (https://www.producer.ai/blog/welcome-to-producer) can, and it's blowing our socks off. It took a song demo that had a kind of jazzy Jason Mraz/Bobby McFerrin vibe, and we asked it to make it into a 2025 in-your-face pop production. And it absolutely did and it did it beyond brilliantly. It produced something that people who hear it can't stop singing or dancing to. It's really brilliant. So far, it's created half a dozen different versions and all on the free plan. It works differently than Suno in that you have real conversations with the AI. Just like talking to Manus or ChatGPT, so you can really tweak and fine-tune, and even have very good conversations about copyright issues and stuff like that too. I'm not putting Suno down. It - and Udio, Tunee, and some others - are great, but for us this is something else.

Eleven labs introduced Image & Video (Beta). Within ElevenLabs, you can now bring ideas to life in one complete creative workflow. Use leading models like Veo, Sora, Kling, Wan and Seedance to create high-quality visuals, then bring them to life with the best voices, music, and sound effects from ElevenLabs. @Tony Rockliff our tool king! What would you recommend from a cost perspective? It looks like all these platforms are pulling Sora in. Do they all mark it up? How are all of you using AI videos and what platform do you like best?

@Jam Anderson Hi Jam, I haven't had a chance to try or cost the ElevenLabs video options yet. They all typically use the same APIs and they pay per video seconds etc., so they typically do increase the costs above the API cost in order to not make a loss. I currently like https://wavespeed.ai for a few reasons - they tend to be less expensive, they show the price up front, and they tend to render faster. Probably the least expensive way to go is to use an API like kie.ai - it's what I use when building front-ends for tools like Sora 2 and VEO 3 etc.

I took a look at images and videos in ElevenLabs, and I really really like the workflow. It's really excellent. But I don't like the credit amounts. For instance, a 6-second VEO 3.1 video with two variations is 48,000 credits.
Cloudflare Outage Feels like 2022 🤡
We can't use ChatGPT, Claude, Loveable.dev or any of our AI apps this morning! Every time something like this happens I realize how much we rely on all these things that could simply go away. At this point, I don't know what to do without my AI systems, I feel so lost! Hopefully, it's back up and running soon. https://www.cloudflarestatus.com/incidents/8gmgl950y3h7

@Juanita Carpenter Yes, see the attached. Supposedly Cloudflare runs CDN for 20% of active websites, according to a colleague.
