What A Journey!
First and foremost, I would like to thank @Nico Valencia for providing a platform for all of us to collaboratively support each other during our own personal weight loss journeys. I am sure that I am not the only one who believes this but losing weight is tough! Both mentally and physically. There are so many things that we can do and it can get easy to get lost in the trends and just be completely overwhelmed. This community was incredibly supportive and I enjoyed talking to all of you. Feel free to look me up on Instagram @ejf_pb Unfortunately, I did not submit my weight for the final week. I was battling mental demons and I let it get in my way. I am sure I was not the only one battling these mental demons, and if you need to chat send me a message and I will gladly talk you through them. That was the best part of this platform, everyone with similar goals, was excited to join the conversation and an introvert like myself would have probably never participated. Whether it is for pickleball, or just for overall better health, I hope that each and every one of you hit your goal, or are at least one step closer. Keep pushing forward! Set micro goals that are easy for you to achieve so that you don't get discouraged. Thanks everyone for this wonderful experience and I do hope that one day, I can play a match with at least one of you in the future!
MLP Week 1
Here are my takeaways from week 1: Columbus has a GOOD problem when Paris comes back next week. Alix and Dani played amazing. I see them trading Alix to a team like Columbus. I think her and Tama can dominate. Tama and Conor are arguably the best men’s doubles team in the league. I believe they went undefeated in men’s doubles vs teams that included Ben Johns, Hayden and Gabe. Ben Johns is the best male player and his finals mixed match on Super Monday proved it. Million dollar baby, Anna Bright was worth the money. Her dreambreaker turns were unbelievable. She can definitely compete in women’s singles in the PPA. If you face Orlando in a dreambreaker, just resign. But going to too many dreambreaker games may hurt them in the long run. They need to get their doubles games in check a little more. Dallas is feeling the loss of Jorja but not as much as you’d think. When they start meshing together they will get way better. New Jersey definitely underperformed but just like Dallas when they figure it out watch out.

@Jake Gelvar Tama is already on Utah. I missed a few matches but my opinions still stand. I’m enjoying what I am seeing and it’s still very early.

I’m rooting for my hometown team Brooklyn. But with all the shake ups in the rosters it’s going to be exciting! Like Tama and Conor taking down Ben!

@Eddie Davidson such is the way during any weight loss journey. Sometimes the scale doesn't always tell the tale. You may gain a couple of pounds but you feel better, you look better and your body is doing things that you couldn't before. Keep moving forward!
