all niches are bad without THIS
(How to make $4k in 60 minutes on Zoom…) You can do all the hard work to pick a good niche: - A niche that has lots of potential clients with money to spend… - A niche where the clients are easy to find… - And a niche that's not in the process of being made obsolete by AI… HOWEVER… All of that will be for nothing if you get your OFFER wrong. In fact... You could pick the perfect coaching niche - one that's absolutely BOOMING right now (like relationship coaching)... And you'll STILL struggle to land clients if you don't have an offer clients actually want and are willing to pay at least $1,500 for. See, a great offer is something clients find easy to say "YES!" to, instead of "I'll think about it." Because it solves a specific problem they're fed up with... And gets them a specific outcome they're genuinely excited about. For example... COA user Aaron just pulled in $4k this week from three 20-minute consultation calls. Take a look at the attached... As you can see… When you have a great coaching offer, it pretty much sells itself... And you don't have to do lots of convincing and arm wrestling to get clients to buy. Instead, it’s not uncommon to sign new clients with 20 minute Zoom calls like Aaron is doing, after a bit of practice :-) So… I'm not sure if that interests you or not? But if it does, I'd like to invite you to my next live training session this Saturday 13th September. Because I'm getting together with some awesome new coaches to work on their niche and messaging... And helping them build a buyer-ready offer so they can land clients without needing a big audience. Which coaching niche should you pick?
A few years back, I had an interesting coaching call. My client was trying to build a business helping "modern-day mystics." You know... coaches, energy practitioners, Reiki masters, tarot readers. The whole spiel. She was teaching them about manifestation, energy work, and living in "love and light." Only one problem... When I asked about her results... It was a mixed bag. See, people in her market learned all these spiritual techniques... Got excited about uncovering "the truth" about who they are... Started doing readings... And really felt like they'd figured out life. But nothing was ACTUALLY changing in their life. On the other hand… She also mentioned how she'd helped two women going through divorce. And these clients got REAL results. But she was resistant to that market. So went over the pros and cons together… Because someone going through divorce has a VERY specific pain point. It's clear. It's urgent. It's measurable. Where there is the most pain... that's where you'll find the most solution. But teaching "spiritual manifestation?" How do you even measure that? When do you know it's working? What's the specific before and after? I’m not saying it can’t be done. But the reality is some transformations are harder to sell than others. Your market needs to hook onto something REAL. Something they can understand. Something that shows them you actually "get" their problem. And sometimes the best niche isn't the one you WANT... It's the one staring you right in the face. The one where you're already getting results. Funny thing is… Once you help someone through something concrete like divorce... THEN they're ready for the spiritual work. But trying to do it the other way around? That's a much harder path.

Why some coaches make things WORSE
I had a pretty eye-opening experience with a therapist once... She was highly qualified. Had all the fancy certifications. But something wasn't right. The sessions would end so ABRUPTLY. No proper closing. No acknowledgment of the emotions I'd just shared. Just... "Seeyoubye!" 😂 After opening up about deep stuff... Being vulnerable... Sharing real feelings... She'd just shut it down… Cold. It felt HORRIBLE. Like nothing I said made any difference to how she reacted to me at all. I would have gotten more emotional validation from talking to a wall! Anyway… I can’t stress how important this is… Because when someone shares something personal with you... It's like they're throwing you a tennis ball. They EXPECT you to catch it... And throw it back. You throw it back by HEARING them... By validating their emotions... By acknowledging what they've shared. But most people catch the ball... And immediately start talking about what THEY want to talk about. Leaving the other person feeling completely unheard. The point is… Having fancy credentials means nothing if you can't connect as a human. As a coach, a simple "that must have been really hard for you" goes further than any technique. "You've done a fantastic job sharing that today..." "Is this an okay place to end?" "Is there anything I'm missing?" These small moments of acknowledgment make ALL the difference... Between clients staying with you for months (or years)... Happily paying your retainer... And referring everyone they know... Or... Having a terrible experience and never coming back. And nothing kills a coaching business faster than clients who feel unheard.
