A little about me: My name is Ed, and at 85 years young, I believe life’s greatest adventure is never stopping learning. My motto: “Live like you will Die Tomorrow – Learn like you will Live Forever”! My journey in business and marketing began at age 12, building paper routes in upstate New York. That spark led to a 30-year career with John Hancock, where I rose from agent to General Agent of Orange County, CA. I've always been driven by creative solutions. I built a seven-figure business designing self-insured health and 401(k) plans for over 1,000 Southern California employers. My passion for real estate led me to become a broker in both New York and California, and I've used my Master of Science in Financial Services (MSFS) for Creative Financing—a skill my wife, Carol, and I applied through 64 years of marriage. During that time, we purchased and lived in 42 family homes, expertly leveraging tax laws to sell them for a tax-free profit using IRC:121. But my greatest recent adventures? AI & Skool!!!! For the past year, immersing myself in AI has been the most rejuvenating experience of my life. I feel 10 years younger. I’ve dedicated myself to learning it and teaching it to fellow retirees, and now I’ve found the perfect platform to share that knowledge: Skool.
