My Personal Analysis: Commitment, Responsibility, and the Path Forward 1. Understanding My Pattern: Why I Lose My Footing Through my assessment, I have realized that my biggest barrier isn't a lack of will, but rather the way I pressure myself. I often oscillate between being a "Conditional" and an "Intense" committer. - Conditional Self-Trust: I tend to trust myself only when everything is under control. When things get messy (like with the house), my confidence quickly begins to crumble. - Willpower vs. Sustainability: I often rely on pure discipline and high intensity ("Bali energy"), but I forget to check if that pace is sustainable in a daily life involving night shifts and practical chaos. - Analysis Paralysis: When motivation dips, I retreat into my head and overthink instead of simply taking one small, imperfect step forward. 2. Reality Check: When the Plan Met Life I have to acknowledge that I returned from Bali with unrealistic expectations. I forgot to account for the human factors—my sister’s grief, the sheer volume of my mother’s belongings, and my own capacity. By agreeing to three weeks of back-to-back night shifts during a house takeover, I pushed my system to its limit. - Where I "Complain": In the past, I might have blamed external circumstances, but I now realize that I chose these priorities. I have "made my bed," and it has cost me my consistency in my RYD studies and created heavy guilt. - The Cost: It has cost me my professional pride as a future coach. But I am taking that responsibility back now. 3. My New Structure: From Chaos to Base I have now created a base in my new home that no longer looks like a battlefield. To rebuild my self-trust and momentum, I commit to the following daily rhythm: - The Sleep Cycle: Home at 08:00 $\rightarrow$ Walk in the woods with my dog $\rightarrow$ Sleep from 09:00 to 15:00. - The Focus Window: Between 18:00 and 20:00, I work with clients or on my assignments. This is my "sacred time" for my coaching practice. - Fixed Training: Every Tuesday from 15:00 to 17:00 is locked for RYD training. - Free Weeks: During my weeks off from the hospital, I will increase my focus on my studies and deep-dive into the material.

Reflection on Work Process and Self-Leadership 1. Analysis of Current Patterns Through a self-evaluation of my behavioral patterns, I have identified a clear predominance of responses pointing toward a "broken self-confidence pattern" (5 out of 14 responses). This pattern typically arises when one has experienced many broken promises to oneself, creating a barrier of doubt before a task even begins. Combined with a tendency toward overthinking (4 out of 14 responses), my primary challenge is not the difficulty of the task itself, but rather the mental process of overcoming the fear of not being able to remain consistent. I tend to use planning as a safety net to avoid failure, which often results in an "all-or-nothing" approach. 2. What I No Longer Want Decision: As of today, January 9th, 2026, I will no longer accept the paralyzing self-criticism and unrealistic demands for perfection that cause me to give up before I even start. I am stopping the habit of letting a single minor slip-up define my ability to complete a project. Consequence: If I do not break this pattern now, I will continue to drain my mental energy on guilt instead of action. The consequence is a life in a "holding pattern," where my self-confidence withers because I never allow myself the chance to succeed imperfectly. 3. My Support Circle To support this new direction and rebuild trust in my own work process, I will draw on the following resources: - Social Support: I will actively engage my network, including my buddies from the RYD-studies, who understand my professional journey, and my good friends from Bali, who provide personal and mental support. They serve as my anchors when I lose perspective. - Mental Self-Support: I will practice "imperfection" as a valid working method. This means being my own ally rather than my own judge when things get difficult. - Structural Support: I will break tasks down into chunks so small that they are impossible to fail. The focus is on "showing up" rather than performing perfectly every time.
10 weeks until you're in Bali

As you already know, I've got your all-inclusive accommodation covered on a room share basis from: Tuesday 11th November 2025 (3pm check-in) to Wednesday 19th November 2025 (midday checkout). We just need some logistical information from you to pass to the hotel 📋 Can you please email me on ed@championacademy.co.uk 1. Flight Confirmation 🛫 The hotel requires the direct confirmation of your flight booking that you receive from the airline or travel representative 5 weeks before arrival. So we will need this from you by Tuesday 7th October 2025 to guarantee your room at the hotel. If we don’t have this confirmation from you by then, you will be liable to pay the full cost of your own room subject to availability. Please note, in order to attend the Healed Retreat you will have to stay at the Sol Benoa Bali Hotel. 2. Passport 🛂 The hotel requires a clear picture of the photo part of your passport and we will also need this from you by Tuesday 7th October 2025. Please note, your passport validity requirement to enter Bali is a minimum of 6 months. This means if your passport expires within six months of the date you’re planning to travel, then you will not be allowed entry into Bali. You will need to renew your passport before travelling. Why understanding relationships is the key to your coaching
At the end of the day, no matter what niche you’re in… Your effectiveness as a coach hinges on your understanding of relationships: - The relationships your clients have - The relationship you have with your clients - The relationship you have with your partner, friends & family And yes… The relationship you have with yourself. The deeper understanding you have of these relationships, the less resistance you will run into in every area of your life and business. For example: I didn’t start out my career as some 19 year old “business coach” guru posting Reels of fast cars in Dubai Nope… I actually started out… as a coach! And definitely not a business coach. In fact… I started out as a relationship coach in the late 90s. Funny thing was… At the time I didn’t even have a girlfriend! But I still got epic results for my clients. Because I understood the psychology and emotional triggers that drive relationships. Which is something I’ve been refining for 20+ years now after spending over half a million pounds on my own learning and education. I think you're right Ed... I'm currently filling out the onboarding form for COA because I want to get my business going. And if it's not going to end up like "it usually does" then I have to do it differently this time. I have to take myself seriously. I have to protect my dream and my goal, I have to take care of myself so that I have the energy to be happy and beneficial to those around me. I believe that the importance of the relationship with oneself is an underestimated relationship... at least in my life.
