December Self-Care Challenge - Staying Sane This Festive Season!
If you are like me, December can be pretty overwhelming with all the commitments and catchups on top of regular life. I love it, but if I don't take the time to rest and recover, I burn out. So rather than go through that cycle again, I've decided to preemptively implement some self-care and I am inviting you to do the same (making it a challenge to keep us all accountable to one another... and more importantly ourselves)! HOW TO JOIN THE DECEMBER SELF-CARE CHALLANGE: Pick one small act of self-care you can do every day to stay grounded and regulated. Something that feels nourishing, simple, and doable. eg: - Music - Reading - Take a bath - Meditation - Nature walk - Exercise - Cup of tea - Journaling Or choose something you’ll cut back on this month to ease the pressure. When you’ve chosen your practice, comment below and let us know what you’re committing to and why! I will keep this post pinned until new year!

@Zachary Phillips thanks for the checking! hmm my reading for december, even though it's not as much as i imagined, i'm trying to stick to it 😇 And... I started today "It Didn't Start With You Workbook" , if you haven't read the book "It Didn't Start With You" i suggest it first, it was a gem.

Hey, I'm Ebru! I'm originally from Turkey, living in the Netherlands now. Married and have a cat named Coco.🐱 I’m an introvert (INFJ) who loves books, drawing, journaling, and basically anything creative I can get my hands on. I joined because I want to push myself out of my comfort zone a bit (otherwise I’ll only realize after three weeks that I’ve been happily hiding with my books again🥲). I'm here to try new things, meet new people, learn things from you about staying sane and maybe challenge myself a little more than usual. Excited to be here!✨

@Zachary Phillips thank you! (Noted your suggestions!) In fact I call myself as a mood reader. I drift between fiction and non-fiction depending on where my heart pulls me - switching between worlds is my therapy. 🤓 And I'm reading nowadays: Dopamine Nation, Strange Pictures and Alchemised. I guess I like reading this kind of different stuff at the same time.✨ I hope I'll be a good addition to the group, thank you so much again.
