Good hangin out with you all! Like you Mano, I have always been drawn in by the lyrics, or the message in the music before the melody. Even now, the chants that get my attention and stick with me, are the ones I find most poetic meaningful to me personally. Of course I am in agreement with your use of the first Clash album as true raw analog, as well as London Calling. I can still very clearly remember when I received the first Clash album on cassette. I sat down and listened to the whole thing. Before that I had only heard a couple of the songs on late night college radio. Listing to that complete album in raw analog, with the message almost made me feel like I was there in the punk scene of London. Before ever going to a live show, listening to that, gave me the desire to do whatever I could to see live music.

I've been listening to it a lot this week. It's awesome!
