Have you ever heard of amazake⁉️🍶 It’s simply a sweet Japanese drink made from fermented rice. 🔹There are two types of amazake, depending on how it’s made: 1.Sake-Kasu amazake: Contains trace amounts of alcohol. 2.Koji amazake: Contains no alcohol. 🌱 The benefits of amazake: 🔸it contains probiotics, bacteria and yeast that may support gut health. 🔸 it contains several B vitamins, including Vitamin B2 (which is good for your skin, hair, and nails). 🔸 it contains amino acids that have been studied for their potential benefits for the skin health. 🔸 it contains glucose, which provides the body with energy. 🔸 Koji amazake is also traditionally enjoyed as a summer drink in Japan.
