….not to buy any more yarn until I’ve used up some of what I already have.. I might even sell some! 😳 Shock Horror!

Here is a preview of one of next week's projects. Not sure what day is coming out because it us going to take a long time to edit this one. Have you ever had a project that you said, "Thank God, this is done!" Well, this was one of those projects. Everything that could go wrong did, but I finally got it done. What do you think?

Today, I wanted to make the scrubby for the sink from the Knitmas files. So being the typical me, I did not take all of my yarn and rewind it like I should have and neither did I have the same yarn that Kim did because I was in a hurry and that’s just the way I am. So, I get ready and I just pull out a length of yarn on the skein I’m using and the way I go. Everything was going famously. I would just stop every once in a while and pull out a little more yarn so that it wouldn’t bind up on the machine. But, the fatal error that I made was starting this project while the Roombas were running. If you don’t know what a Roomba is, it vacuums and/or mopps your floor automatically and with six inside dogs and four inside cats that have hair, it is an absolute necessity. I have two because I have a sunkin living room and one vacuums, the living room and the other vacuums everything else. Well, as you can guess it, the Roomba in the living room where I was sitting, decided it wanted to knit too! And why not? It looks very much like an Addi. It’s round and it does twirly things. But not in the same way. as you can imagine. I let out a yell, three down my Addi and went chasing the Roomba as it drug along my ball of yarn, all the while tangling it around the wheels, the brushy brushes and the rollers. I was able to catch it, stop it and spend the next 30 minute saying naughty words and untangling my yarn. Did it all turn out? Yes it did. But I learned a valuable lesson today. Do not! Ever! Start knitting when the Roombas are running!🤣. Here is a picture of the offending little beast.

Don't worry, Kim your superhero admin here. I just banned another person from the group for trying to spam everyone about their create a website for your drop shipping business. They tried to disguise it as a genuine interest post but I have been doing this long enough to see through it. I warned the person through a message and they had the audicity to tell me that they should be able to talk about what they want, that they were only sharing "ideas." I told them if they wanted to share ideas about yarn or knitting they were welcome to but if they were going to talk about drop shipping I would remove them. They told me to remove them and ... BAM They are not only gone for good but banned from the group as well. The Knitting Machine Maverick is always here to protect this community from spammers, scammers and lonely men thinking that this place is easy pickings - not on my watch.
