Relaxing this evening, before a fun-busy next few days in Disney. Daddy aka Zeus has been reviewed here in great detail, so I'll just reiterate that it's a phenomenal scent (no layering required @Jonathan Ventura πŸ˜‰), and I will definitely be getting a full bottle to replace my 10ml when it's done. Have a great night brothers!

This is a wonderful choice for an evening scent! I went with Hombre tonight as my SOTE. πŸ˜ƒ

The more I wear this one the more I appreciate it, but it's still a "like" for me vs a "love". It'll get some more wears this week, with some heavier sprays. Notes are Citrus, Ambroxan, Apple, Pineapple, Vetiver, Patchouli and Musk. (Aventus dna). It goes on supremely fresh and aromatic, with a fruity, citrus blast, rounded out with oakmoss & musk, that smells woody to my nose. Moderate projection and sillage for the first couple of hours. Citrus burns off after an hour, and the woody, oakmossy nature begins to take over, with a touch of sweetness lingering. At 2 hours, I get an aromatic, clean, woody, oakmossy scent, with steady, moderate to mild sillage. Vetiver and musk are listed, and must be blending into the overall scent. I'm also catching little whiffs of something tart, that reminds of grapefruit, but it's fleeting. Mild sillage to the 5 hr mark, then a skin scent for hours more.

Remember a bit of hype surrounding this one when it came out earlier this year. To be honest it never really garnered much attention from me. Created by Marie Salamagne, Bruno Jovanovic and Nicolas Bonneville, it's a woody amber number, although nice, it does nothing to wow me or justify the price tag. Even now, it still sells for €135 for a 100ml. The opening is a unique clash of deep, warm ambery woods and a powerful clean, citrusy freshness. It's somewhat familiar, like I have something in my collection that has a similar profile. They seem to be pushing the, everything back to front vibe with a quote, inverted olfactive architecture, meaning the heavy, warm base notes are designed to be immediately present, tracing a path from depth to light. Base notes include Ambery Woods Accord, Peru Balsam, Benzoin Resin & Guaiac Wood. What you get is depth with a resinous, balsamic warmt. At its heart, Bourbon Geranium & Floral Rosy Facets which lead to a clean, bright, and slightly aromatic green floral core. The top notes are Calabrian Bergamot and airy musks.sharp and clean, with a fusing burst of citrus freshness. I'm going out on a limb here, but I'm getting YSL Myslf or Polo 67 vibes here? Performance is not so bad, I'm getting 5hrs before it starts drifting away and it projects strongly forthe first hour, creating a noticeablescent bubble. Yes it's good, but it ain't nothing new, a lot of unwarranted hype IMO, wrapped in a fancy nonsensical story. A hard pass for me I'm afraid. There is a lot better out there. My Rating: 5/10 Scent: 2 Longevity: 2 Sillage: 1 Y/N: 0

@Dovi Rubelow this works very well for me as well for some reason. I went to post office the other day and the lady that waited on me asked what I was wearing and said she LOVED it and wanted to get it for her boyfriend. I was standing 4-5 feet away from her when she commented on the scent and it was about 2-3 hours after I had applied it. It's strange that there is such major polarizing opinions on this one about performance. I understand it not being everyone's particular scent profile, but performance should be somewhat consistent from person to person and it's not at all that way with this one. To each there own, but this one works for me and some others, so try it for yourselves and see if it works for you!

@The Rain Society it's not supposed to be like their other fragrances though. It's supposed to be different than anything they've released and it does that
Pegasus by Parfums de Marly
it’s a humid and wind morning on the bayou today in a morning filling with appointments and my final pre surgery taping. I’m still in my Parfums de Marley testing after two days off and going with Pegasus today. I’m not 100% sure it’s a cold weather scent, but it also seems like it could be a multi-weather choice. It is an Oriental Fougere fragrance for men. Top notes are Heliotrope, Cumin and Bergamot; middle notes are Bitter Almond, Lavender and Jasmine; base notes are Vanilla, Sandalwood and Amber.

I love this one! Great choice! This and the Exclusif version are so good on my skin and in the air. I always get positive attention whenever I wear either of them
Boss Bottled United edt by Hugo Boss
Fresh, spicy, bit bubblegum, fruity, citrusy, green, bit minty opening Youthful, easy going, pleasant fragrance "Fresh-out-of-the-shower" vibe Still has the DNA of the OG Good projection and sillage Good for the office and large open gatherings, great for the gym or running errands Great of Spring and Summer Powdery, soapy, woody, earthy dry down Dry down is similar to Versace Pour Homme Classic BB bottle shape, metallic silver (fingerprint magnet) flimsy cap, good atomizer (this is my favorite bottle color out of all the "bottled" line) Moderate longevity Discernible for 1-2 hours and stays as a skin scent for 3-4 hours more and definitely needs re-spraying Good overall performance I would highly recommend Boss Bottled United ⭐⭐⭐⭐ for the actual smell..

I have the EDP version of United and not the EDT, so I'm not sure how similar they are. I thought this one was the one I had, but it's different, so I wanted to clarify that I've never tried this one

@Jonathan Ventura thank you for sharing about this one! I didn't know they had separate versions of EDT/EDP United, so now I need to get the EDT to try it out as well
