@Jean-Marc Reynaud It is completely standard to share login credentials with your registrar. This is part of their white glove service. If you do not share you will need to update NS manually, which they can typically provide for you, assuming you are technically savvy to do so. I use different providers for gmail, SMTP, and MS outlook because they all have their own specialties, and provide different benefits regarding deliverability.

🧊✉️New Video: Better Way to Scrape Unlimited Leads Using Google Maps
Looking to do cold call, cold email or direct mail sales to google maps businesses? In this video we cover exactly how to scrape every single business in your Total addressable market straight off google maps, INCLUDING decision makers validated email addresses. You'll learn how to build out the workflow, set up the tools/softwares, and start scraping in hours. P.S., you can download the JSON workflow for n8n below, but keep in mind you will need to open your own n8n, serper.dev, openAI and clay.com accounts. The link to the clay template is https://app.clay.com/shared-workbook/share_bsHmnWaZjPhj With these tools and the following video, you should be ready to rock and roll, and scrape local businesses in minutes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qnOdUgpaICA&t=480s&ab_channel=JohnTannerWorthington

@Rick Julian it will still work and good for now especially if your just scraping a few times, rather than an agency use case. if you are running an agency, it might be quite time consuming

Way cheaper than outscraper. And simpler to use in my opinion. Outscraper is super slow too @Atishay Jain

Clay keeps deprecating links, making it impossible to keep a live link up to date unfortunately. We dont do this in clay anymore, but rather in our own software.
Our People Enrichment Process for SMB Companies
I dont touch Apollo or Sales Navigator. Apollo has crap data imo, and I think sales navigator has crap filters. Icypeas can be a good alternative for linkedin specifically but it emulates the same filters so requires some massaging. 1. We focus mostly on SMB so we have to fight like hell to get lead data. 2. We typically scrape google maps or google search to get lists of companies (no lead databases for company building) 3. We take the company name from gmaps listing or google search and generate simplified names. For example, if google maps says the business name is “Makotos Japanese Restaurant and Bar, NC” we will generate simplified names like “Makoto, Makotos, Makoto’s” with OpenAI's api, and post these to icypeas. Since icypeas only allows company keyword match, this helps us find multiple decision makers especially in small business use cases where each employee might have put the name of the company they work at, a little bit differently. These size companies typically dont have official company pages their employees can link their profiles to so they write in their own version of their company name. One person might write Makotos Steakhouse, while another writes Makoto's Sushi. Since one has an apostrophe and one doesnt, our AI Generated variations will catch these. This will however also find unrelated businesses with similar names like Makotos Design Studio, so we then use OpenAI to fuzzy match company names after the fact. We then have to go and look through job titles and company names within the worksfor[] array of job experience for each profile. The reason for this is because linkedin salesnavigator (which icypeas emulates) returns profiles in a non intutive way. For example, this search for owner at bonefish grill https://www.linkedin.com/sales/search/people?query=(recentSearchParam%3A(id%3A4850368546%2CdoLogHistory%3Atrue)%2Cfilters%3AList((type%3ACURRENT_TITLE%2Cvalues%3AList((text%3Aowner%2CselectionType%3AINCLUDED)))%2C(type%3ACURRENT_COMPANY%2Cvalues%3AList((id%3Aurn%253Ali%253Aorganization%253A348699%2Ctext%3ABonefish%2520Grill%2CselectionType%3AINCLUDED%2Cparent%3A(id%3A0))))))&sessionId=u%2BuTrFd%2FTdyyoCyDPPTGIw%3D%3DWill%2Cfilters%3AList((type%3ACURRENT_TITLE%2Cvalues%3AList((text%3Aowner%2CselectionType%3AINCLUDED)))%2C(type%3ACURRENT_COMPANY%2Cvalues%3AList((id%3Aurn%253Ali%253Aorganization%253A348699%2Ctext%3ABonefish%2520Grill%2CselectionType%3AINCLUDED%2Cparent%3A(id%3A0))))))&sessionId=u%2BuTrFd%2FTdyyoCyDPPTGIw%3D%3DWill) return 26 results… Obviously there are not 26 owners of bonefish grill.

@James Harry We use clay very sparingly right now, because it is too simple for most of our needs. As outreach methods become democratized we find that they are no longer effective as prospects get fatigued to them. For example, job postings as a buying signals are basically worthless at this point since everytime someone posts a job they get hit with 1 million emails. So by outside of clay, we mean calling directly via API's in our custom softwares. As far as the template it should be pretty straightforward to rebuild from scratch, we never do this internally anymore so we dont have a table internally I can reference. We built a scraper in Python, but its basically just a text column and HTTP column to serper.dev/search Yes we reach out to generic emails and decision makesr email, we figure we have a higher chance of getting in front of someone. It would be even more effective to reach out to decision maker, and if no response for X time, maybe 1-2 weeks, hit the generic email, but we havent done that yet as it would just introduce to much complexity at this point.
