Hey gang, I know we are all here to get better at getting business funding, so I thought I would leave you this tip that has always been good for me! We hear people talk about "properly" structuring your LLC but you don't usually hear what that means. In my experience it means, look as much like Target as you possible can. What does that mean: ✅Have a business address (not your house) ✅Have a business phone number (not your cell number) ✅Have a business website (complete with the address and number listed above) ✅File your LLC WITH THESE DETAILS (the secretary of state should have all of this exact same information not just you and your homies) ✅Get your EIN in a SAFE industry (consulting, marketing, logistics NOT Trucking or Real Estate) ✅Have existing relationships with as many banks as you can afford (open business checking accounts and FUNNEL money through them as much as possible). ✅Have your Personal credit PERFECTED. THEN and ONLY THEN are truly in the most primed position for business funding.
