Mercury in reverse cowgirl, or whatever...
How intense is the energy lately? So much to process and navigate, my little nervous system is a tad overloaded. Sorry I've been missing in action of late, I'm still here, just have a bit going on. How is everybody else managing with the Eclipse season/Retrograde/Samhain energies?

Amongst other monikers, Iota was my Small But Mighty Butterfly Hunter. He never actually caught a Flying Flower but he was a keen and adept ratter and mouser and... cricketer.

Keepers of the feet
Today I stayed home from work due to a hip injury. As a result instead of the usual morning walk I put myself back to bed. Zeb doesn't sleep on the bed. He will visit and hang out, yes, but normally chooses to sleep on the floor in the doorway or out on the lounge. I'm forever fascinated at how our animals know when we need their support. Do your dogs do this too?

Ah, how lovely. Reminds me of @Susan Cleveland's gorgeous boy, and of what @Melanie Benware posted about with her dogs recently. A number of years ago I was walking in a Big paddock with the dogs, just after some good friends had left the property to continue on their big around-Australia holiday. I knew I wouldn't see them again for a looooong time because they live on the west coast, and I was feeling a bit melancholy. Next thing I know Slipstream's nose was gently pressed against my palm. Usually on our walks The Four stayed in anything from close to loose proximity, always keeping tabs on where I am but doing a lot of investigating of the environment, but in that moment He Knew. Hope your hip improves ASAP. Video of the paddock and the crew, with Mama Chook the ewe accompanying us on the walk too.
