Black Friday 2026 is on Friday, November 27, 2026 - Drop your 👇 wish in the comments 👇 Does everybody have a "Wishlist" of things to secure during the crazy days? I notice Amazon is already promoting.... P.S. If you need a tech device, and confused, happy to do research and report back with options. Could be good for all Bio Builder members...

5 Quirky Uses of QR Codes in Marketing AND A Real Iife story!
So I've got lots of ideas about QR codes. However, I've got one really interesting story, which I'll get to at the end so you can have a little laugh. QR codes have become a familiar bridge between the physical and digital worlds. More than 90% of marketers now use them, and they’re increasingly being used to create experiences rather than simply point people to a website. If you want to have a little more fun with them, here are five quirky ideas worth trying. 1. Put One on Your Coffee Cup ☕ Give your morning coffee a digital sidekick. A QR code on a takeaway cup could reveal a joke, daily tip, playlist, discount, loyalty reward or even a secret menu. The trick is making the scan feel like a little discovery rather than an advertisement. 2. Turn Your Business Card Into a Mystery Instead of sending people straight to your contact details, make the QR code say something intriguing: "What's behind this?" or "Scan me. You might like this." The destination could be a personal video, special offer, portfolio, booking page or even a quirky introduction. 3. Hide QR Codes Around Your Business 🕵️ Turn your shop, office, hotel or café into a mini treasure hunt. Place codes in unexpected locations and give customers a reason to find them. Each scan could unlock a discount, piece of information, clue or entry into a competition. QR codes are already being used for contests, loyalty programmes and exclusive content, so there’s plenty of scope to make the experience playful. 4. Put One Somewhere Nobody Expects A QR code doesn't have to live on a brochure. Put one on a park bench, mirror, plant pot, shopping bag, luggage tag, restaurant table, car window or even a T shirt. The location becomes part of the marketing. A QR code on a restaurant table might say "Bored waiting for your food?" and lead to a game, special offer or behind-the-scenes story. 5. Make Your Product Packaging Interactive 📦 Don't let the relationship end when someone buys the product. Put a QR code on the packaging linking to a recipe, demonstration, setup instructions, reorder page, bonus content or surprise offer. Product packaging is already one of the most popular QR Code marketing channels, with 46% of surveyed marketers using it.

@Glen Hutsell so if I wanted to share a 60 second video of my artwork for prospective members, that title would be inside the QR code? Planning on dropping off flyers with vets/first responders...this would be genius to incorporate!!

@Glen Hutsell oooh, ok! Got it!!
Why I’m On Skool
I don’t have a Skool community of my own… yet. 😎 Bio Builders & @Jeff Baer made me feel very welcome. For now, I’m here to Learn, Participate, Help and Share. My focus is affiliate marketing, residual income and, above all, helping people make technology simpler. I’ve spent years working around the internet, marketing, websites and technology, now in my 3rd retirement, it's all about LifeStyle. My philosophy is simple: KISS - Keep It Super Simple. On Skool, I want to learn from others, share what I discover, promote things I genuinely find useful, and hopefully help someone else along the way. Learn: Learn from the people already doing it. Participate: Get involved rather than just watching from the sidelines. Help: Solve problems, Share products, ideas and opportunities that I genuinely believe can help. Share: Pass on what I learn — especially the stuff that makes technology a little less confusing. No big guru claims. No pretending to know everything. Just learn, test, share and improve. And who knows… maybe that “yet” will eventually disappear and there’ll be a Skool community of my own. Learn. Participate. Promote. Share. That’s why I’m on Skool. I'll be around.... The Bio Builders feels like home.

How Do You Kickstart a Community?
Yesterday, @Mark Whitby and I sat down with @Jackie Grawe to brainstorm ideas for getting her Skool community, Access Peace, moving. And we recorded the conversation. Rather than just talking theory, we dug into Jackie’s actual community and kicked around ideas for: 👉 Attracting her first members 👉 Giving people a reason to join 👉 Creating engagement and participation 👉 Getting members to come back 👉 Spreading the word outside of Skool 👉 Building some early momentum Access Peace is built around creativity, connection and Jackie’s live drawing sessions — so the challenge was figuring out how to turn that idea into an active community. If you're building your own community, I think you'll get some ideas from listening to us work through it together. 🎥 Watch the brainstorming session below. And then tell us in the comments: What idea would YOU give Jackie to help kickstart Access Peace? Check out Jackie’s community here: https://www.skool.com/access-peace-5573

@Nick Nebelsky following you! I would gladly do a free workshop. Probably limit 10-15 for the first one. I would give participants access (no charge) and then utilize the recording for my community.

@Nick Nebelsky I work during the day! The earliest I could do is 5 pm cst.
I've cracked the code!
Actually, it's not that big of a deal. However, understanding skool is a process, and as this is a focused community platform & classroom second, it's about being engaged. There's a little bit of gamification in this. As I'm a little competitive, it's led me to: 1) See how the system works 2) Be able to help and share along the way I've cracked the 7-day leaderboard and I'm moving fast up the 30-day leaderboard. Watch out, I'm gonna be on it! My next mission: Get My Unique URL locked away. I may ask your assistance to acchieve that...
