🎯 “Would you rather?”
Would you rather have: A: One Airbnb making $2,000/month profit or B: Five Airbnbs making $500/month profit each? There isn't necessarily a right answer. But your answer says a LOT about the kind of STR business you're trying to build. A or B? And why?

If I had to start Airbnb from scratch tomorrow, I would do things VERY differently.
I wouldn't start by buying furniture. I wouldn't start by obsessing over the perfect logo. I wouldn't spend weeks choosing cushions and artwork. I'd start with one question: “Who exactly am I trying to get to book this property?” Because once you know your guest, so many decisions become easier. The furniture. The photos. The amenities. The pricing. The description. Even the way you market the property. If you were starting from zero today, what's the first thing you'd do?

🧹YOUR CLEANER IS PART OF YOUR BRAND.
Think about it. Your guest doesn't know your cleaner. They don't know your VA. They don't know your maintenance person. They only know YOU and your property. So when the bathroom isn't properly cleaned… When there's hair on the bed… When the bins haven't been emptied… The guest doesn't say: “My cleaner did a bad job.” They say: “This Airbnb isn't clean.” Your operations are part of your guest experience. Never underestimate them.

💰 LET'S TALK AIRBNB NUMBERS.
Imagine you find an apartment that costs $700/month. You furnish it. Your average nightly rate is $65. If you average just 20 booked nights: 20 × $65 = $1,300 Now obviously, that $1,300 isn't your profit. You still have to account for: • Rent • Utilities • Cleaning • Platform fees • Supplies • Maintenance • Taxes • Other operating costs But this is exactly why you should NEVER start an Airbnb because “the apartment looks nice.” You start because the numbers make sense. And that's one of the first things we teach people who want to get into short-term rentals. Would you like me to break down a REAL Airbnb deal from start to finish? Comment NUMBERS 👇

🚀 WHAT TO DO NEXT
Don't just sit quietly and consume content. Ask questions. Share your property. Share your numbers. Share your problems. Tell us what you're struggling with. If you're thinking about starting but haven't taken the first step yet, that's okay too. There are people here at different stages - from “I have no idea where to start” to “I already have properties and want to scale.” That's exactly what makes this community useful. Welcome to E Launch Pad. Let's build something that actually works.
