Hiring a Cost-Efficient AI Developer / Technical Partner
I have a project idea that I genuinely believe could become something powerful, but I’m running into a practical problem. Like a lot of entrepreneurs, I’m still in the day-to-day grind of keeping the bills paid, so finding the time to fully dive into building this myself has been tough. Because of that, I’m wondering: Where do you all find solid AI developers outside of the usual places like Fiverr or Upwork? Ideally I’d love to connect with someone who: Understands AI agents / automation (Claude, OpenClaw, etc.) Enjoys building real products Might be open to working together on something meaningful I’m not necessarily looking for a typical contractor relationship. I’d actually be very open to a profit-share or partnership model with the right person who has the technical skills and time to help bring the project to life. If anyone here has: recommendations on where to find good devs experience partnering with technical builders or is a developer themselves interested in collaborating I’d love to hear your thoughts. Thanks everyone — really appreciate this community.

@Beau Johnson what do you think about these new things coming out like gobii.ai and a bunch of similar ones?

Wanted to know which version mac mini should I invest in? Should I get a new one or grab something used on FB marketplace?

Welcome to Shipping Skool! I’m Beau, and I built this community for entrepreneurs like you who want to build real tools and products using AI — without needing a computer science degree. Here’s how to get started: 1. Introduce yourself below — tell us your name, your business, and what you want to build with AI.2. Head to the Classroom and start with "Start Vibe Coding" — Lesson 1 will get your Next.js Starter Kit set up so you can ship fast.3. Join the weekly accountability thread every Monday to set your goals.4. Post your first win (no matter how small) in the Wins & Builds channel. The only rule: we build, we ship, we help each other. No gatekeeping, no jargon walls. If you can describe what you want, AI can help you build it. Let’s go! 🔥

Hey everyone! @Beau Johnson My name is Dustin Ray and I’m based in Maryland. I’m newer to this group and excited to start learning from everyone here. I work in a niche area of real estate called Distressed Property Acquisitions, specifically deals involving curative title / messy title situations. In simple terms, these are properties that can’t easily be sold because there are legal issues tied to the ownership — things like deceased owners, probate problems, missing heirs, unpaid taxes, liens, or other title defects. Because these situations can be complicated, many properties sit unresolved for years. Investors who know how to solve the legal/title problems can sometimes acquire them at very deep discounts. What I’m hoping to build with AI is a system that can automatically research public records and identify potential opportunities. The idea would be to have an AI agent that can: • scrape and monitor public data sources • use OCR to read messy scanned documents • cross-reference multiple databases • identify signals of possible title issues Some of the data sources I’m interested in analyzing include things like: • obituaries and death records • land record databases • court/judiciary case search • probate/estate filings • property tax records • genealogy sources (like Ancestry) The goal is to stack different data signals together to identify properties that might have unresolved ownership issues. I’m currently exploring tools like OpenClaw and AI agents to help automate this research process. I’m still early in learning how to architect something like this, so if anyone here has experience with: • AI agents • OpenClaw workflows • OCR pipelines • scraping public record systems • building data pipelines for research automation I’d love to connect and learn from you. Not sure if this is exactly the type of project people in this group are building, but I’m hoping it fits and I’m excited to see what everyone is working on.
