Do you believe having a larger nuclear stockpile than other countries makes us have more leverage and negotiation power, or is the amount irrelevant if we have even a small stockpile?
I think having a larger stockpile most certainly gives the US more leverage. Having superior nuclear power shows other countries that the US possesses the means to completely wipe them out if it comes to it. Obviously nuclear warfare is something that should be avoided since no side would come out of it in one piece. But still, having a larger nuclear stockpile than other countries is a good negotiation tool.
Ken Griffin recently said that a lot of the money being invested in AI is not worth it, that fear of job loss to AI is mostly hype. What are your thoughts on the quality of AI work and what industries do think will be affected?
I’m 50/50 on AI. On one hand it is very useful and can be used with all kinds of different areas. On the other hand, it is rapidly advancing and has a very real chance of taking over certain jobs.
