It Grew Anyway
These watermelon seedlings pushed through 5 inches of mulch… on their own. No perfect conditions. No careful planning. Just growth. After the storms we had here last night, this felt like a reminder. Growth doesn’t wait for perfect. It happens anyway. A lot of things in life work the same way. What’s something in your life that needs to be started—even if it’s not perfect? 🌱

It doesn’t have to be perfect. Just planted.
Start Anyway
I didn’t have the perfect setup. Didn’t have everything figured out. I planted anyway. And it grew. That’s something the garden keeps teaching me—growth doesn’t wait for perfect conditions. It responds to action. If you’ve been waiting for the right time…you might already be in it. 🌱 What’s something you’ve been putting off starting?

Start small. Start messy. Just start.
Starting Over Isn’t Failure… It’s Growth 🌱
Some seasons feel like you’re back at square one…but that’s usually where the real growth begins. In the garden and in life, starting over doesn’t mean you lost—it means you’re still showing up.

After the Storm, Everything Was Still Blooming
Quick reminder from the garden this morning— Last night’s storm was no joke. But nothing quit. The blooms didn’t wait for perfect weather. They just kept going. That’s what consistency looks like. Not pretty. Not controlled. But still showing up. 🌱 That’s where real growth happens.

What’s something in your life that kept growing… even through the storm?
They Took Over… and That’s Not a Bad Thing 🍓
I went out to check on my strawberries and realized… they didn’t just grow—they spread. Everywhere. At first, it looks messy. Like something got out of control. But that’s actually what strawberries are supposed to do. They don’t stay where you plant them. They send out runners, root in new places, and keep going. And if you understand that… you can turn one plant into many. There’s something in that beyond the garden too. Growth doesn’t always look neat. Sometimes it shows up in ways you didn’t plan. But that doesn’t mean it’s wrong. It just means it’s time to decide what to do with it.

Have your strawberries started doing this yet? 🍓 Or are you just getting started this season? Share your pictures here, I would love to see them!
