@Jera Rensberger I had to save up for an m2 Mac mini and I got an Apollo Solo and Sphere LX modeling Mic from zzounds and made/making payments on it. I got the Mac mini for $536.00 since I already had a 5 terabyte external I was good with the base model. I could use more ram but I’m good for the most part. I like the combination

@J Es you have to have a fast enough drive in I was using a 2017 iMac but the drive was to slow to run Luna that’s why I got a Mac Mini M2 the drive has to be 7200 rpm

Discount Codes
Hey since there is quite a lot of us on here thought it would be good if we all post discount codes or email offers in the run up to Black Friday. Things should get hectic on that weeks lead up. Obviously use your code first before posting as some companies limit it to one user order or individual but if your not using it post up so others can benefit 👍 Post anything with music software/hardware etc.... Lets try and save some cash.

Software help
Do any one the best daw to use with MacBook that runs the high sierra 10.13 I can't seem to non of my daws to work or some updates is there a way to update my Mac so I can get more of the software I need

What DAW Do Y'all Use?
I am curious to find out what DAWs are being used. More importantly, does the DAW matter more than the skill put into using it? I personally use Cakewalk.

I’m tracking in Cubase using an Apollo Solo. I mix in Studio One and then master in Cubase. I’m working on swapping Cubase out for Luna but Luna is not working on my system at the moment. I like the ease of use of studio one but I think Cubase has a better Raw sound than Studio One. I have read a lot of reviews that says Luna has excellent sound quality and is close in its analog emulations. I’m currently saving up for the Black Friday cyber Monday sales though at the recommendation of brother Devvon I invested in NLS summer by waves, The God Particle by Cradle, Master Plan by Musik-Hak, and today I just got black box hg-2 and hg-2 MS for $25 bucks which is insane it usually cost $249 for hg-2 and $349 for both. And by themselves they are ok but together man they give you that sauce. So now I’m excited and eager to upgrade my monitors, headphones and microphone, and get thicker foam for my walls and get to work so I am really hoping to try luna

I’m still learning LUNA but man it actually has a sound to it that sounds great. And now that I can use any interface with it is even better not upgrading my interface any time soon but when I do I’m glad I have LUNA.
