Another High Ticket Hybrid Question
I am wondering about the message that goes to rejected applicants, can’t see any examples in the training. Anyone willing to share your examples?

I know it's not directly from HTH, but I'm setting things up to downsell rejected applicants to self-study courses -- which are slightly slimmer version of my main program's content, with less lessons, and no quizzes, assignments, troubleshooter chatbot, or direct feedback like tests, evaluations, and messaging).

This is the introductions thread. Say hi, tell us what your business is all about! In your introduction, answer these 3 questions: ➡️ What is your name? (feel free to share pronouns if you’d like!) ➡️ What is your business or platform? Who do you serve, what do you sell, etc ➡️ What are you most excited to explore in Monetize?

@Chantell Roberts Welcome! Having raised an autistic son on the more severe side of Asperger syndrome, I know how much what you offer is needed. My son is now 25 and living on his own because my wife is a superhero who was determined to see him a functioning adult. But it was the hardest thing either of us have ever done, and it almost broke us many times. Thank you for what you do, and having the passion for it!

@Michelle Rogers what an incredible service! For years, we grabbed at anything that even remotely looked helpful and almost always fell short. Brain Balance is the only thing that truly helped my son, but there was little to no support for my wife and I. We were very alone, even within our friends and family. He’s 28 and fairly independent now, but we have a lot of ptsd from that first 18 years - especially his school years. You’re definitely addressing a HUGE need. I truly hope it takes off for you far beyond your expectations.
🎁 NEW! 6-Figure, 100% Asynchronous Launch Debrief is live!
Hello, hello! I've just added the all-new launch debrief to the classroom, in the Launch Debriefs course here. You're going to love this one. It's a deep dive into the data and drama of our recent 6-figure, 100% *asynchronous* launch - meaning no live webinar, no live videos, no livestreams or live calls. The launch was 100% pre-recorded. This was an experiment and I learned a LOT from it... I share everything in the 3-part breakdown! Enjoy the full detailed debrief, and you can ask your questions about it in the comments below! 👇

For some reason, when I click on the play button for the first video, the video player disappears rather than plays. It happens in the app, phone, laptop, and no matter the browser.

@Mariah Coz thank you!!!
Free or $1/mo for spam discouragement?
After a couple of weeks of going back and forth with this question while prepping my new public Rock Singing Success Community, I think it's time I ask for help. I understand the appeal of free, but without spam protection in place in Skool, I'm also highly considering charging $1/mo to discourage spammers from signing up. I know it will likely still happen anyway, especially given that I'm dealing with musicians whom the majority of don't seem to know how NOT to spam people. But $1/mo will at least stave off bots and hopefully a good percentage of people who only use Skool free communities in order to promote themselves. I'm also concerned that $1/mo can discourage many normal people from joining, even if the perceived value goes up a bit because of it. What are your thoughts? The good news is that all I have left to do is some podcast edits, all the images (my team is doing), and connecting Thrivecart to a few of the courses, and then it's ready to launch! My long-time coming, already mostly-developed high-ticket program is next on my agenda! That's after years of testing and developing various proposals of the same thing for someone else that kept pivoting directions at the last minute. I'm super excited!

@Mallory Whitfield I appreciate the feedback. I'm going to charge $1/mo. I'm even tempted to charge more, but would rather use my mini-course and book as the legitimate low-ticket offers. Sadly, in my experience, the most spam I would deal with on a free community are likely to be freebie seeking musicians who never intend to buy. I tested free vs $1, using conversations around a lean canvas, and by far the $1 price has gotten laughs and affirmation for all the reasons you said. Even my last business coach said the exact same thing you did - the very reason I have low-ticket offers already, rather than free lead magnets. Thank you for giving me the extra push.

@Mariah Coz It has tested well, but it's not live yet. Losing my editor and being sick for over 2 months really set back our community launch. It should [finally] go live in the next week or two.

Guys - this is going to embarrassing... I just started my new skool account and I've fallen at the first hurdle!!! I know I get 1 chance to claim my URL but I don't know what best practice is? If my community was called "Ab Bc Cd" would you guys go for skool/ab-bc-cd OR skool/abbccd? Or does it not matter at all? Does this URL ever get used? An absurd question I know but the "1 time shot" made me think I could get it wrong and regret it. Sorry in advance.

I’ve personally found that dashes slow people down.

@Carlos Garrido I suppose you could use a paid domain redirect. But I prefer to be able to send people straight to my Skool url to avoid confusion. Plus I like to reserve paid domain names for websites and landing pages. But I’ve seen both ways. The only reason I would personally use (and I’m considering) a domain redirect is to capture tracking data and other metrics, since Skool doesn’t currently offer that to us.
