@Brian O'Neill thanks for the b-day wishes as well. I mentioned the book 1000 marbles as a source to help people with a tip towards motivation and urgency. The book flows with the concept of us being mortal and you statistically, if living to the "average age" life expectancy, at age 55, statistically we have 1000 Saturday's left. Once the reality hits at this age? You've potentially less than 1000 Saturdays left? How does this change your life/life-style? More so, the book helps you focus more on living better, trying to improve your life, life-style, work-life balance, making time for things of importance & with intentionality and purpose. Personally, I'm a big fan of Dr. John C. Maxwell and the first book of his I read was "Intentional Living" and his book really impacted my life a few decades ago. Because his mentoring and coaching speaks to you about discovering your calling, living a life filled with intentionality and purpose, where your footprints in the sands of time have value, meaning and you leave a solid family name sake and legacy. (Mine, I'm also focusing on financial security & generational wealth--my passion is teaching financial literacy with the goal and purpose of impacting and creating value and knowledge/wealth in over 10 million people's lives. The tsunami of paying it forward & impacting those families lives and generations so much, they can never repay the value invested in them.) Personally, I love to read and since 2010, I've read over 3500 books. It sounds massive when you say that, but everyone can do it. Just by investing at least 30 minutes a day. I read 30 minutes in the AM and 30 or more in the pm, 7 days a week. Easily 200 plus hours a year. Sometimes, I'll dedicate my lunch hour to reading, if a book is really interesting and I have a hard time putting it down. ;) I also focus on gaining the nuggets of gold, from each and every page read. What do you do as hobbies and or intentionality and purpose in your life, for/with family and in your community?
