What the heck does this knob do?
Hey, guys. Could someone please look at the screenshot I attached and tell me, for the love of all that is holy, what this little knob does? I read the user guide, which didn't click. My masters always come out getting louder on the quieter parts of my beats and parts where there are less instruments playing. I randomly mess with this knob and eventually, I find a spot that levels it out. I want to get to a point to where I just know where to set it. The rest of the compressor is no problem, although the bleed section was giving me problems, too, until I read the user guide, but afterwards, that part was a breeze to work. How do I make this "Max Gain Reduction" knob work for me?

Who's got music on Spotify? Drop your links here!
Who's already releasing music on Spotify (or other DSPs)? Drop your links, I want to hear where everyone is at sonically right now. Also, let's start leveraging this circle of like-minded producers and musicians!I love finding new music, and the more stuff you can tell the algorithm you like, the more good stuff Spotify recommends- I want to know what y'all are making. My personal playlists need new sounds. I'm a fan of lots of electronic music, rock, metal, pop, and hip hop/rap personally, so if you make any of this, I wanna hear it! Pro tip- 30 seconds counts as a stream. Spotify likes when people "like" a song or save a song to your playlist. These are positive signals, so if you're vibing you know what to do. Skips, or less-than-30-second plays are negative signals to the platform, so let's all try not to do give Spotify negative signals, even if you're not into the music people are sharing.

This is a project that I did a while back. There is also a video for the song Jeez Louise on YouTube if you want to check that out. Thanks for taking the time to check it out. https://open.spotify.com/artist/1FLvYYUEH9hzYIdXg6zSv5 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I_ClNxSST4M
WAVES WAVES WAVES
WAVES PLUGINS are amazing. They are so easy to use and sound fantastic. And for the price of one UA plug in, you can get the entire Platinum series from Waves. Love that company.

What DAW Do Y'all Use?
I am curious to find out what DAWs are being used. More importantly, does the DAW matter more than the skill put into using it? I personally use Cakewalk.

Love Logic Pro X. But that's probably just a function of it being the only DAW besides CuBase that I've used.
