Azadirachtin Products and CHS Symptoms (Sort of a PSA)
Have you ever run across someone who has CHS symptoms? Cannabinoid Hyperemesis Syndrome? I was told by doctors that I suffered from CHS I have found my issue to be completely Azadirachtin related I have spent 15+ years enjoying cannabis without CHS symptoms, through Aza-free cannabis In my experience, azadirachtin (the active ingredient in non-clarified neem oil) gives me the same reactions as THC does to people with 'actual' CHS. My symptoms are: - Nausea - Vomiting - Kidney pain - Increase in muscle tension (making injuries hurt worse) - Possible low blood sugar drops (death chills) Symptoms vary between individuals, with many not connecting the dots between their low level symptoms and aza ingestion. It builds over time, so a fresh batch of lightly contaminated flower can build up over a week to cause problems. New batch on Monday, smoking 3 bowls a day, and by Friday your knee injury is outright KILLING you. Only change being the cannabis. Aza works wonders. In my experience it also stays in the cannabis long after application, right up through harvest and beyond. I envy those who don't have an issue with it. It's turned me off of other people's cannabis for 20 years now. :( The future is bright though! :D

@Jake Hudecek Yes, neem seed meal has enough aza left over to cause issues, depending on how much is used of course. (No, I don't have any data on that one)

@Jake Hudecek But.... but.... but... It's ALL ORGANIC!!! Yeah... tons of flack over it for what... 15+ years now? lol I do hope it's an aza issue with your friend, and from the sound of it I'll bet they're going to be fine. :D Have an awesome day! :D

If I'm going to harvest tomorrow, am I supposed to be doing something special today? I'm just now reading all the classes and I should've been more on top of it, but I'm thinking I need to harvest it in the next day or two I haven't used any synthetic fertilizer or anything, but Biolive and warm casting do I need to flush or go all the way dry or do anything special? I need to keep reading, but it looks like you might be online

Dehuey's will add heat to small spaces. Keeping it below 70 will go a long way toward keeping 'hay' smells out. 10-14 days is what I shoot for, till the stems 'crack' when bent Slow moving air, not blowing direction on the plants, like a fan pointed at the ceiling The 'burping' jars for a few days took me a bit to learn right, but you'll get it. :D
Am I fubared?
Talk about purple? It's down right black. Am I photosynthesizing? Try combs still are clear to cloudy no amber except for the tips of the leaves of course so that's where the THC is stored. If I am remembering correctly that I don't believe the spray. And the cold has affected that I'm hoping. So what do y'all?think?

Why do you grow weed?
I've done a lot of thinking recently about why different people get into growing. For some, it's all about having access to affordable cannabis. Others it's all about pursuing quality. And for a surprisingly large chunk, they do it just for the fun of growing a cool plant that they used to not be able to (you'd actually be surprised how many people grow weed and don't consume it or do anything with it besides give it away). But I want to know, what makes YOU want to start growing? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For me personally, I've always had a mild interest in cannabis. When I started consuming for the first times it was just something fun to do and try out. Over time I got exposed to the crazy world of different strains with different smells, tastes, effects, etc and thought it was super cool how varied of an experience you can get, and how certain weed could be tailored for certain things. What really changed my view was getting exposed to some of the really high end cannabis . . . I'm talking weed that's sold for $500+ / oz and that's if you're even able to find it (it sells out remarkably quick from the growers / brokers). I still remember some of those batches of "special" weed that totally changed my perspective of what cannabis is, and what it can do. Some of the smells blew me away, and instantly had me recognize certain scents with things I've smelled previously in life in super specific ways. It's kind of hard to describe but I'm talking weed that smells like soggy fruit loops at the end of a cereal bowl. Not fresh fruit loops. Not fruit flavored smell. But identical to the end of that cereal bowl. It gets weirdly specific and it's really hard to describe, but if you've ever had a similar experience you'll understand what I mean. Something just clicks in your brain and brings back a memory. The taste was the same way. I realized that you can consume weed and not get that "shitty smoke taste" in your mouth (once again the only way I know how to describe it). I found myself constantly wanting to try more and the joint getting tastier the further down I got and sometimes changing flavor. This is a really hard one to understand as well unless you've had it, but there's some weed that can literally taste like candy and coats your mouth with that flavor.

@Jake Hudecek Affiliate links are your support tool. Be sure to announce they ARE an affiliate link, and that using it supports your efforts. Personally, I look for affiliate links when someone is providing good value content. Post your experiences, with the equipment/tools/items you can wholeheartedly recommend. :) I'll buy if it's something I need as well. :)
Bud Density - Dispensary vs. Home Grown
I am curious about the density of buds, specifically what contributes to the density of a bud. I have the same strain, one home grown and the other was bought at the dispensary. The seed I found originally and grew, came from this strain, this same dispensary, and same original grower Abundant Organics. The dispensary buds seem twice as dense as the buds I grew. Is there a way to make the buds more dense? Is this controlled in the flower process? The drying and curing process? Just curious if it’s a variable that can be controlled or if it’s just luck of the draw. The attached pics are of the strain, from the dispensary and from my grow. Also including a side by side. Seems to smoke the same and effects are the same, just different densities. Thanks for the help!

@Jake Hudecek Very well put. :) Some big environmental triggers I've noticed on density: - Nitrogen in excess causes stretching, which makes for fluffier flowers and extra stem - Light intensity has a direct connection with flower density I remember when A64 passed in Colorado and my first trips to dispensaries. I saw some flower that was obviously grown near the edge of the garden, with extra stem and super fluffy. It was not a landrace sativa. heh When asked, the response was: "Oh, that's just how that strain grows." lol They were quite correct, in that's how it grows in low light. ;) Azziz LIGHT!!! lol
