[ME: Week #1|Prompt #1] Share the first three things on your inventory list.
Welcome to Week #1 of our first [ME] micro-experiment: Meet Yourself on Paper. We're starting the four inventories! Sometimes getting started is the hardest part, so let's keep this simple. Your Big Book of You, v2 should be approached like a grocery list: Bullet points, fast phrases, quick thoughts. The Quick Three: Scan your house, or your phone: What are 3 things you can inventory about yourself? Paste them below to get 'first posts' out of the way. Remember the inventories cover: Skills Interests Experiences and Lessons Dreams and Environment. And, we're simply getting in the habit of noticing ourselves and getting reacquainted with who we are. No need to analyze anything. I've put mine below. Now, your turn.

Hi there, well without thinking much and by scanning what is around me in the house (like a stranger would do), I can say : I love cooking (so many cookbooks, food appliances and food in the kitchen), I enjoy artistic manual activities involving colors (a lot of art material in the house), I love animals and always have food available for them (foxes, birds, stray cats, even weasels) when they come by. No animal should go hungry according to my book ;-)

@Colleen Kochannek Hi Colleen, thanks for your kind message. I have been an employee my whole life and am scared of being a freelance (consultant or other) as I love structure, a sense of belonging to a team, reporting a manager with whom I can brainstorm solutions and I think I need to feel some security. But I might have to reconsider if I do not find a job as an employee after a couple of months. Age is a problem in Europe, once you are past 45, you are considered 'old and expensive' and employers are not so keen on hiring you. Thanks for the suggestion and the warm welcome :-)

I would like to exercise more so it becomes a habit. If I recall correctly, we need minimum 150 minutes of intense movement per week to stay healthy and on top, some sessions to build/keep muscles. Sounds so easy.
Reset - Dorothea
Overall, I felt the Reset exercise sheets were a lot of fun and so refreshing. My brain is full of sparkles now. Minor challenges, and it feels like a new thing. What struck me was the need to allow myself real time off for fun activities (e.g., painting, collage, art journaling) and not to focus only on productivity and 'to-do' lists.
