Episode 38 - Now Live!
Grace for the Emotionally Overreactive Love Jesus… but also cry in your car, overthink everything, and replay conversations from 2014? Yeah… same. In this episode of Divine Shenanigans, we’re talking about what it looks like to live with big feelings and still walk with God—without shame, without pretending, and without spiraling quite as dramatically. We dive into:✨ Why your emotions aren’t the enemy✨ How overthinking hijacks your peace✨ What Scripture actually says about anxious thoughts✨ Real-life ways to stop the spiral before it takes over✨ And how God’s grace meets you in the middle of your mess—not after you’ve cleaned it up Through relatable stories, honest moments, and Biblical truth, this episode is your reminder that you are not “too much” for God… even on your most emotionally chaotic day. Plus, this week’s Song of the Week: Grace for Real Life by Brynn Elise is included at the end of the episode—written for the messy, overthinking, real-life moments we all experience. 🎶 You can also find the lyric video on YouTube at:Brynn Elise: Worship & Words 💬 Call to Action If this episode hit home, share it with a friend who overthinks like you do—and don’t forget to follow/subscribe so you never miss a new episode of Divine Shenanigans. https://www.buzzsprout.com/2524584/episodes/18986136

Another GREAT episode!
Strength for the Week: When God Is Working Behind the Scenes
Sometimes the hardest part of faith… is trusting God when you can’t see what He’s doing. No clear answers. No visible movement. Just quiet. But just because it feels silent… doesn’t mean God is absent. He’s still working. Still arranging. Still preparing things you don’t even see yet. This week, if life feels uncertain or slow, hold onto this truth: God is still working behind the scenes. Even here. Even now. Even in this. ✨ Journal Prompt: Where might God be working in ways I can’t see yet?

Person of Integrity - Psalm 119:33–35
Integrity sounds beautiful… until life gives us the chance to take the easier route. The shortcut. The half-truth.The attitude we try to justify because someone else was wrong first. But integrity is not just about how we look on the outside. It is about letting God shape what is happening on the inside. In Psalm 119:33–35, the writer asks God to teach, guide, and direct his steps. That is such an honest prayer. Integrity is not pretending we already have it all together. It is being willing to say: “Lord, teach me how to live right.” A person of integrity is not perfect. A person of integrity is willing to be led. Willing to choose truth over convenience.Willing to choose obedience over appearances.Willing to do the right thing even when no one else notices. And that kind of life matters. So today, if you are facing a hard choice, a tough conversation, or a moment where compromise feels easier… Pause and pray: “Lord, direct my steps and help me walk with integrity.”

Letting Go of Yesterday’s Weird Energy - Isaiah 43:18
Some days don’t end cleanly. They linger. A weird conversation, a frustrating moment, something you keep replaying…and somehow it follows you into the next morning. But Isaiah 43:18 gently reminds us: "Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.” Not because it didn’t matter—but because it doesn’t get to carry into today. You don’t have to wake up and relive yesterday. You can release it. Today is new. And you’re allowed to step into it with a clear mind and a peaceful heart. 🙏 Morning Prayer God, Thank You for this new day. Help me let go of anything from yesterday that I’m still holding onto. The thoughts, the tension, the moments I keep replaying—I release them to You. Renew my mind, reset my heart, and fill me with peace as I move forward today. Amen. ✍️ Journal Prompt What from yesterday am I still holding onto—and what would it look like to fully release it and step into today with peace?

Do not dwell on the past is a hard one for me. My brain is hard to shut off. LOL
