Real one today,
Between running a nursing department all day and building this thing at night, most people ask me why I don't just rest. Honestly? I like the building. I like figuring stuff out. I like that this is mine. So — not an AI question. What's the thing YOU'RE building or figuring out right now, in your own life? Doesn't have to relate to any of this. That means more than you know. ❤️ I really believe people flourish when they feel seen and encouraged, and I'm grateful to cross paths with so many wonderful people here. I also love what you shared about Genesis. It's a good reminder that we don't have to have every step figured out. We can do our part, stay faithful, and trust that God sees the bigger picture.

Ikigai
Been sitting with this Ikigai diagram from the lesson today — the overlap of what you love, what you're good at, what people need, what you can get paid for. What hit me: I run a nursing department all day. That's the "good at" and "paid for" circles, solid ground I've had for years. But I only found my actual Ikigai when I added a third thing I was curious about almost by accident — and it didn't erase the nursing side, it sat right next to it. Made me realize most people are only using 2 of the 4 circles. They're skilled and employed, but not lit up. Or they're passionate but broke. Which circle are you missing right now — love, skill, need, or pay?

This really made me think.🤔 For a long time, I had the "good at" and "needed" circles covered through my career in education. Looking back, I was probably missing the freedom to build something that truly felt like mine. Now it feels like those circles are finally beginning to overlap. I'm using what I've spent decades learning, applying it in a new way, and building something that energizes me. I'm not sure I've reached my Ikigai yet, but I definitely feel closer than I ever have.

So yesterday, I did my first ever in-front of camera YouTube video.🎉 I also posted in on Instagram😊. This was one of the bravest ( and scariest) things I have ever done, but I did it anyway. We often fear judgement - what will other people think or say?... but that's okay. We cannot control what other people say or think of us, but we can control what we think and say about ourselves!🫡
