We want to know more
Or at least I want to know more! From your profile I'm thinking you created the fab work in the picture. Will you tell us about it? PUHleeze? I would hesitate to be this pushy but you are showing definite signs of fitting in here very very well... @Donna Holmes

Ha ha ladies you are so fun!! Okay so I have zero confidence in my work but my husband says I AM an artist! I have been lucky to sell a few pieces, and I have been in a few group exhibitions. This particular piece was a 2 week exhibition in Cromer. It was created as part of a group project where we all had to create work inspired by the late artist Derrick Greaves. We meet as a group, at his studio, still owned and supported by his widow. This is the Biggest thing I have ever created, and for me, is successful and I'm proud of. It's in acrylic on a 1m canvas
The value of a critique and a Second Layer
I would really like to adopt a new name instead of "Critique". Because it really doesn't suit what we do. @Karen Mack and I met a couple days ago after she got her first paint layer down on the panel of A Bee's Delight. She did a fabulous job. I asked her what she loved and didn't love about it. I only had one tiny input about a change. Anyway, here is her BEFORE the second layer and AFTER the second layer. What do you think? Zoom in - make it bigger. What do you notice the most?

I love the additional depth you've given it, it feels more alive now. I can see more texture too, that adds a level of interest all.on it's own.

How did that wine glass end up on her @ss?
There is so much story here. So many questions. Here, you get to make up the story. What happened? Who is it? Why is that glass on her ass? Is this a new form of waterboarding?

🚨 HELP - We need your help. 🚨
Almost 2 weeks ago, a community post with an idea had 109 comments. Now if you're a community owner, that makes you realize just how F-💣 important this is. This is good because I love this idea! @Fred Tyre started it and SO MANY MORE you love the concept. SO here goes. It's an Art Sharing, Snail Mail Style - exchange. But we have to come up with a title for it. This is open to every member. How it works. - Opt in and provide your mailing address that will not be made public. - Create a piece of art (small card size - details to com). - Mail that art to your assigned fellow dropout. - When your art arrives, you share the photo of it and the story in the community (There will be a special tab for this). Of course, since we are all a bunch of bad ass reprobates (my favorite word btw), we thought we would have some fun with the name. Below are some suggestions: @LM Sharron suggested this: The Artful Accomplice Exchange - Participants become Accomplices - Pairings become Assignments - Mailing day becomes The Drop - Recipients are Creative Co-Conspirators - Arrival photos become Evidence - Finished swaps become Case Closed Here is the original post with lots of brainstorming ideas. https://www.skool.com/painting-for-drawing-dropouts-5983/group-project-art-share-snail-mail-style

Sounds a great idea, I'm UK based so probably impractical to join in with this. But love the concept!
