Here’s the following notes that I have learned from Airbnb Hosts in Dubai. 1. Every landlord basically allows you to Airbnb, there’s barely even any pitch involved everyone in the entire city is okay with it. 2. Low barrier to entry, open regulations no restrictions. 3. High startup costs, you have to pay your rent 3 months at a time. You can’t pay monthly. 4. On average if your rent is $3500 you’ll be making about $8000-$10,000 per month during high season. No clue about slow season because all these guys just started few months ago. I’ll find out once they go through it. 5. Cost of labor/housekeeping is very low due to high supply of immigrants willing to work for super cheap. 6. Overall good market that has barely any professional hosts, most people don’t even use Pricelabs.
