@Tams Schutte My children range from 14 son, 15 son, 18 daughter, 21 daughter and there souls are my reason for wanting to doing the life coach to be a better father for them. I also wanted to show people that even after life decides to test you and throw one of the biggest spanner’s in the cogs by me loosing my eyesight at the age of 40 years. Old and having to restart life it is possible. I want to be able to encourage people and make a difference to peoples lives. I want to also be the first blind NLP certified practitioner in South Africa. And prove that my hard times are just a detour and not the end of my journey so as to show my children even when you get knocked down the floor is as far as you can fall. And the floor is a great place to build a strong foundation on for your new dreams. So I know this wont be easy but it will be worth every moment.

@Tamzyn Wegrostek Thank you Tamzin I am here to improve my super power and doing so be the best dad, son, brother, friend and coach I can be. My children say I am a mix between Iron man because of all the metal plate and screws in my face and Dare Devil because of my adventurous nature and white cane.

I am excited to be stepping into my new role as a coach and in doing so also improving my self image. Let it roll on and let it all cascade from. The first idea into the actual achievement.

I am worthy! I am worthy of achieving my inner happiness. Ian worthy of becoming an impactful coach. I am worthy of deep meaningful family connection. I am worthy of been here to become more.

How we speak to ourselves when no one is around forms our identity over time. So choose words that encourage and be honest but fair. We each have the power to train those inner voices to actually be useful but it takes discipline and consistency every day. I am learning that my patterns can be changed once I have seen them and changed the way I speak to myself.

What has changed for me is clarity in who I need to become to actually live in alignment with the true identity I choose for myself and not the identity I think the world needs me to be. Showing up and purposely changing my habits and mindset for a positive one instead of only seeing problems . I now see abilities and resources I do have instead of complaining about ones I do not have. The community has challenged me by making me go deeper and actually face my limiting beliefs that I am not good enough to be a coach because I am blind and reminded me that if you truly want it you will make it happen. This community and challenge have given my compass its needle back and I now have direction. Thank you to every one for sharing and caring.
