Airtable quote → PDF invoice → Google Drive 🧾
Hey everyone 😄. Here's my second Make build. I set it up for a mock car service company: you create a quote, add the services, click "Generate Invoice", and a few seconds later the PDF is in Google Drive and linked back to the quote. How it works: - Airtable holds everything: customers, services with prices, line items and quotes - A button on the quote sends it to Make through a webhook - Make pulls the quote and all its line items, and builds the invoice in HTML - PDF.co turns it into a PDF - The PDF goes to Google Drive, and the link goes back into Airtable For a small business this cuts invoicing from a few minutes of copy-paste per client down to one click, with fewer mistakes in prices and totals. I attach a quick video walkthrough and a few screenshots of the system, and the invoice created. A few questions for everyone here: What other regular and repeating tasks in small (or BIG:) businesses would you point, that are not on the surface - like invoice creation, and can be automated or optimized? What would you add next to the system, to make more easy to use or client-ready? and, sure, other feedback is always welcome ;) and thanks a lot for the feedback on my first build, it really helps and encourages to move forward! Wishing you guys a great week ahead 🙏😊

@Lakshya Pandey hey, thanks for the reply, and the 6-month-ish ping is a really practical idea. And the follow-ups are very important as well. Yeah, so far the trigger is the button click in Airtable
AI Automation - Voice&text journal 📌
Hey everyone. I want to share my first build in make.com - a system that helps you create and store notes (via voice/text messages to Telegram Bot), and gives you a brief of your tasks/ideas/plans for Today, This week and This month every morning. I attach a quick video walkthrough and a few screenshots of the system, take a look! Stack: Make.com + OpenAI (Whisper + GPT) + Notion + Telegram + GitHub. There's definitely room for improvement, hit some roadblocks along the way as well (like an Iterator that drops data on multi-item messages, GPT duplicating tasks across sections, and a few API auth headaches), but that's part of the process! For everyone in the space, would like to hear your take on: - Any obvious ways to optimize the workflow or cut down on steps? - What would you add to enhance the system? and any other points or comments are of course welcome 😊 p.s. Thanks @Liam Ottley for the community and showing different paths and spaces to dig into!

@Usman Ali thanks for the advice! Do you mean structuring the Notion data before the GPT step in the brief scenario (instead of a text aggregator)?

@Jordan Tandi hey, thanks a lot for the advice, and pointing that Capture scenario can be done in one branch, not two. And the feature to close things from Telegram straightforward, not from Notion, is definitely very helpful. Will work around that 🙌

Hello! Anyone knows where I can get the notion template from this video?
