Hi! 👋 I’d love to hear how you prepare your artwork for large-format printing, especially when you need to achieve a true, high-quality 300 DPI result. I recently sold a poster that I generated quite a while ago, and the customer ordered it in a 28×40 inch size. The original image is only 1049 × 1499 pixels, so to reach approximately 8400 × 12000 pixels at 300 DPI, I need to upscale it by 8×. I'm looking for software that can genuinely improve image quality, preserve fine details and textures, and produce sharp, professional-looking prints — not just artificially increase the pixel count or change the DPI metadata. A few questions: 1. What software do you use to upscale your artwork for large-format prints? 2. Has anyone tried Upscayl (the free AI upscaler)? I've tested it, but I'm not entirely convinced the results are good enough for professional printing. 3. Do you use Topaz Gigapixel, Photoshop Super Resolution, or any other tools? 4. Have you successfully printed 28×40" posters from images that originally had a much lower resolution? How did the final print quality turn out? I'd really appreciate any recommendations based on your actual printing experience. I want to make sure my customers receive genuinely high-quality artwork, especially in larger sizes. Thanks so much for your help! 😊
