Contemplating
I find it really hard to contemplate, sometimes I manage it well but I need to be really focused. When I try I find my mind wandering into every day issues yet i don’t seem to have a problem meditating.

@Stephen Frew Getting distracted is normal. The game here is not "don't get distracted". It is to get back on track as quickly as you can after you do without creating additional distractions like "oh, no I got distracted again". And at some point the question starts "holding you".

@Stephen Frew Actually don't push it, just stop doing that and get back to contemplation. 😄
Sleep
Hey, In one of Peter's videos he talks about sleep and that you die if you don't get enough of it. For several weeks I'm now without proper sleep and try to figure out how to restore my sleep-ciycle. If you have any suggestions or experience that can be helpful it is most welcome. Thanks

@Felix Küppers Due to my profession I've had to learn how to reset my sleep schedule on demand. Here's what gets you 90% there: 1. Remove late night screen-time 2-3 hours before your desired going-to-bed time 2. Get out in the sun early as soon as you wake up. No windows, straight to the face sun exposure 3. Be physically active early during the day Bonus: Figure out your chronotype to determine what a good waking up/falling asleep time is for you. (Bear, Lion, Wolf or Dolphin). You can probably intuit it relatively well. First 3 days always suck. Get over it. PS - as with most things, most advice & hacks is complete BS. The things above are the only ones that have worked consistently for me
An exercise about interpretation
Notice which direction the arrow is spinning. Then see if you can switch its direction. Try doing it quickly over and over again. It's a really cool way to see how your mind interpreting stuff bends and twists what you perceive. Hint in the comments. Don't look there if you want to figure it out on your own.

Hint: Look from below, then from above. 😉
