5/25 - 5/31 Magazine Cover Challenge
✨ Weekly Challenge: Cover Story You're the creative director. This week, your brand, business, niche, or passion project — or honestly, anything you find interesting or beautiful — is getting its very own magazine cover. And you're in charge of every design decision. Think about the magazines you've always loved. What makes a cover stop you in your tracks? It's not just a pretty photo. It's the masthead, the cover lines, the hierarchy, the mood. This week, you're going to build all of that — intentionally. The deliverable: A magazine cover — the theme is completely yours. Use your brand, your business, your niche, or just something creative you've been wanting to explore. There are no wrong answers here. 📐 Size: 8.5x11 (set as a custom size in Canva — inches) What makes a great magazine cover: - A strong masthead (your magazine's name — make it up!) - A dominant image or visual that anchors the page - Cover lines that tease what's "inside" - Issue number, season or month, price, and a barcode - A clear visual hierarchy — the eye should know exactly where to go first - Need inspiration? Head to Pinterest and search your magazine's vibe — editorial, fashion, wellness, food, whatever fits your world. Save what stops your scroll and let it guide your design decisions. The one rule: You can use AI-generated images or elements, but the design itself must be built by you in Canva. No fully AI-generated covers. The layout, the type choices, the composition — that's yours. Need help pulling this off in Canva? Drop your questions in the community and let's figure it out together. 📅 New challenges drop every Monday morning 🎥 Submissions are reviewed live on TikTok every Sunday @ 7pm EST 🙈 Submit with your name or anonymously — no one sits out just because they don't feel ready yet 👉
